Image 1 — To date, everything I’ve been learning to make has been larger, more complex pieces which are fine but it’s not everyone’s taste. So I’m trying to learn how to make smaller, more minimalist pieces. Which oddly enough is far more technically challenging for me than heady pieces. Weird. 😆

Finished this goofy l’il weirdo this morning on account of being up since 3am thanks to the nutjobs setting off fireworks nonstop from 2-4:30am. 🫠

Tore my MCL in May so I’ve been missing out on some epic urban hiking this summer 😭 Was able to handle a 4 mile stroll to pioneer square today, just in time for Egypt to win - such a fun vibe!

First time I’ve completed a complex piece in a single day. (Granted, I’ve been working on it since 7am 😆). Tigers eye in copper.

Kinda weavemaxxed this one. 😆 Black lace agate with onyx accent stone.

Tiger eye in copper. I’m going to oxidize this one when…I practice oxidizing first. Haven’t tackled that step yet. 😆

Latest WIPs complete. Having a lot of fun with the woven wraps at the top - they look so…architectural, like Gehry’s work, maybe? Started as a goof but ended up a happy little accident. 🙂

Finished a couple pieces today and have a few more on the worktable. I love this creative outlet so very much. It’s really helping me through some rough times right now. ❤️

This unintentionally turned into a “pocket watch pendant” so I just ran with it. Not a fan of the stone, but that was deliberate as I didn’t want to do my first attempt at prong setting on a stone I liked in case I flubbed it. 😆 Turned out better than expected though! Next one will be cleaner.

Latest pendant is complete! Now that I’ve been wrapping for a few months I’m able to create my own designs which is so much more fun. Center stone: Hematite Accent bead: Preseli spotted dolerite (aka bluestone). Tried for some nice outdoor shots but Livingston had other ideas.

Livingston started visiting a couple summers ago when I provided him water during the warm weather and has just hung around with me ever since.

Latest piece finished: rainbow moonstone with white buffalo stone accent. I’m just starting month 3 of learning how to wire wrap so pretty excited at how this one turned out. 😊

Kinda made a hot mess of the bail on this blue goldstone pendant but eh 🤷‍♀️ Each piece is a learning experience. Or at least that’s what I tell myself. :)

Agate, amethyst and adventurine in bare copper. Will likely antique this piece once I get more practice oxidizing so I don’t ruin it 😆

For everyone who is new to wire wrapping like myself, I've made several YouTube tutorial playlists that helped me learn how to do all this in the last two months :) Hope you find them useful!

Getting in some more practice with swirls and setting small stones. After a couple months of learning, I’ve decided building on frames is my favorite. :) Stones are orthoceras fossil and malachite cab.

I needed some practice making smaller pendants, and also needed to learn how to set a small cab, so made the "Nancy" pendant by Perfectly Twisted Jewelry Tutorials. The onyx cabochon is much too big, but now that I've set a 12mm, an 8mm will be easy. Right? Right?? 🤣
