I’ve been making wire-wrapped pendants since 2016. I make every piece by hand, working with wire and stones.

I’ve just added a new lesson to my Wire Wrap learning library.
Working with Wire: Cutting, Bending
- how I cut the wire
- how I make clean bends
- how I make a curl with a tapered end
- how I finish the ends so they are smooth and comfortable to wear
This is part of the beginner level, where I’m starting with the basic skills and gradually moving toward more complex pendants.
If you’re learning wire wrapping, I’d love to know what you find difficult or confusing. Your questions will also help me understand what I should show in the next lessons.
The lesson is available on my Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/vottovara/posts/working-with-166749025?utm_medium=clipboard_copy&utm_source=copyLink&utm_campaign=postshare_creator&utm_content=join_link
I’ve started building my Wire Wrap learning library
I’ve just published a new post on my Patreon about the wire I use in my own work.
I go through the different wire thicknesses I use, what I use each one for, and why I prefer nickel silver and soft wire.
There’s also a post about the tools I use in my workshop.
I’m slowly building this into a proper learning library, starting with the basics and eventually moving on to my own pendant designs and more complex techniques.
If you’re interested in learning wire wrapping with me, you can find the posts here:

I’m building it from the beginning, so there are only two posts so far but more lessons will be added as I create them.
I’ve started making tutorials.
I’ve been making wire-wrapped pendants for almost 10 years, and I think I’ve finally reached the point where I’m ready to share what I’ve learned along the way.
I’ve learned most of it through years of practice, mistakes, experiments, and making pendant after pendant. Now I want to start putting that experience into tutorials and share it with those who want to learn.
The first post on Patreon is already up it’s about the tools I use. Next will be videos showing how I use them. After that, I’ll start showing how I make my own pendants.
I’m not going to make simple pendants specifically for the tutorials. I’ll be showing you how I actually make my own pendants.
