I need names for this cute little girl!

My moms calling her Tiny, but one day she'll be bigger, and its just not sticking. I was thinking Nora, but what do yall think? Unusual and food names are a plus! Edited for spelling error; Tiny, not Tony

Meet Pluto 💙

Hi everyone,

This is Pluto. I rescued him when he was approximately 2 weeks old. Today he is about 5 1/2 weeks old.

When I found him, he was only 165g. I am happy to share that Pluto officially weighs 565g, over a pound, and he's a very happy and polite kitten. While this journey has been unexpected, it's been incredibly rewarding to see this little guy thrive. But it's been very hard on my body, as caring for such a young kitten is a grueling process.

Since he's approximately 5 1/2 weeks old, he has learned how to use the litterbox which is really exciting! I'm working on weaning him but it's still so much work and I've never done this before in my life. But, I'm going to be honest--I'm really struggling.

Unfortunately, raising a neonate is a lot of work, and my mental health is deteriorating. I found Pluto at a time where I'm trying to take care of myself after going on mental health leave from work and I've been neglecting myself to make sure Pluto had a fighting chance.

I've all but exhausted the donations I received to pay for his care (not to mention California in itself is an expensive place and everything is expensive). (PLEASE NOTE: I am NOT asking for donations). Even though I have ties with a local rescue (and have contacted at least a half dozen others), they are all maxed out. The other rescues all have intake holds and aren't taking any more cats right now.

At this point, I'm no longer able to care for him. Pluto either needs a new foster home or, ideally, a permanent one.

Any advice or comments are welcomed. Thank you.

Our kitten is turning 1 tomorrow

I first saw her in person in the first two photos, when she was a 10 weeks. 🥹 She’ll be exactly 1 tomorrow, and she still seems so tiny!

Kitten drooling or something else?

Ive noticed the pass few days that when I wake up my kitten will have a wet upper lip and his tongue will be slightly out. It goes away pretty quickly and he has no issue with eating hard or soft food or playing with his sister. I explained it to the vet yesterday and showed them a pic but when she examined him she couldnt find anything out of the ordinary. He sleeps pretty deep and heavy could he just be drooling in his sleep? Anyone have any ideas what it could be? Attaching a pic of him this morning and a pic of how he normally looks.

Double canine with 5.5 month old kitty (this is my sleeping baby)

I just noticed Daisy has 2 canines on each side. When I called the vet today, the receptionist said we can wait until October to worry. What are your thoughts?

Does anyone have experience with teeth that look similar to baby Daisy that fell out on their own?

single kitten syndrome…

This is Lucifer, he’s around 11 weeks old and has single kitten syndrome because he was 6 weeks old when rescued from almost dying due to malnourishment, worms and parasites. The biting my arms/hands and feet/ ankles is getting to be extensive and he bites very hard. He is super mischievous which is why I named him Lucifer. Idk what to do I had tried redirecting to toys but he is very adamant on biting my body instead. I tried convincing my partner to get another kitten but he refuses. I have two other adult resident cats that have not been introduced fully to him yet. Will the adult cats eventually put him in his place and he learn not to be so rough? He is always running around wanting to bite something trying to play. It’s exhausting.

How old is this kitten, and what should I be doing for her?

Hi- I found a kitten outside who looks SO tiny, and I need a good estimate of her age bc we took her in! I saw on this forum you could tell a lot by the teeth, so that’s why we did a pic with her mouth open (it was the best shot we could get!) She is so sweet! She meaws every time we leave. We have fed her a bit of milk, which she can lick up from a small saucer plate, but that’s it! She doesn’t seem to have that much interest in wet kitten food. What should we be doing for her, and how old would you all guess she is?

*edited to say she has budding back molars, but they are just barely poking through
