I’m thinking about starting a small, private group for people who already work in—or are seriously building a career in—AI, ML, Data Science, or AI Engineering.
The idea is pretty simple: learn together, keep up with what’s happening, and have real conversations beyond the usual “here’s a new AI tool” posts.
Each week, we’d:
- Choose a current AI-related topic, paper, website, or development.
- Spend some time during the week reading and getting familiar with it.
- Meet over the weekend at one of the members’ places or somewhere we all agree on.
- Talk through the concepts, theories, practical uses, and bigger implications.
- Look at both the good and bad sides of the development.
Topics could include new research papers and emerging AI technologies, as well as questions like:
- What actually happened in AI this week?
- What does a new paper or breakthrough really mean?
- How is AI affecting geopolitics, jobs, and society?
- What are the environmental costs of AI, and what’s being done about them?
- What are the real benefits, limitations, and unintended effects of a new technology?
- What should people in the field actually be paying attention to?
The goal isn’t to turn every meeting into a formal presentation. It’s more about being curious, thinking critically, sharing different perspectives, and helping each other stay informed both technically and more broadly.
I’m thinking of keeping it to around 4–5 people, with a mix of entry-level, mid-level, budding, and established professionals—as long as everyone is genuinely involved in AI/ML/Data Science or something closely related.
To keep things focused, we’d do a quick LinkedIn/profile check before adding anyone. This would be a small, consistent group, not a large open community.

Meet Poppy & Pepper, two adorable brothers looking for a loving, permanent home.
🐱 Poppy — the quiet, shy one. He takes a little time to warm up, but once he does, he loves being close to his hooman.
🐱 Pepper — the naughty, playful one who will keep you entertained all day!
They are approximately 2.5 months old and are:
✅ Vaccinated
✅ Dewormed
✅ Defleaed
✅ Litter-trained
✅ Healthy and active
Despite everything they've been through, both of them are incredibly affectionate. They love sitting on their hooman and sleeping alongside them at night.
🏠 Adoption Preference
We would ideally love to have them adopted together, as they are brothers and are very attached to each other.
However, single adoption can also be considered if the adopter already has a cat/pet at home so that they won't be growing up alone.
We're looking for someone who understands that adopting an animal is a lifelong commitment, not a temporary responsibility. We want a family who will:

I found these two little babies abandoned in a box outside my house early one morning. They were scared and clinging to each other, so we rescued them and have been taking care of them since.
They are both 2.5 months old, litter trained, dewormed, and vaccinated (Tricat 1). ❤️
🐱 Poppy (Male) — quiet, shy, gentle and a little cautious at first. He takes some time to warm up, but he has a very sweet nature.
🐱 Pepper (male) — naughty, super active, playful and incredibly curious! he’s full of energy and always ready for his next little adventure. 😸
Since they are bonded and were constantly sticking close to each other during the rescue, pair adoption is strongly preferred. We would really love for them to grow up together. We are fine with single Adoption too.

I joined Deloitte in June this year and yesterday I was trying to add my mom and dad as dependents under medical insurance. But the error said that I can't add my mother and father as a natural selection. I didn't understand what that is.
Also, don't companies provide free yearly medical check ups? I tried to schedule one in my Bajaj portal and I was asked to pay 10k during the checkup.
