Hi everyone,

I’m moving a few things from Stamford to Norwalk (about a 20 min drive) and I’m trying to figure out the cheapest option for a truck rental.

It’s not a huge move, mostly a couch, bed, and some boxes, so I don’t need anything big or for a long time. Probably just a few hours or same day rental.

Has anyone done a short local move like this recently? What ended up being the cheapest option for you — U-Haul, Home Depot truck, Penske, or something else?

Also open to any tips to save money (hourly rentals, mileage fees, timing, etc.).
