Adding flower stitching to my thrifted dress!

I have a project runway brother sewing machine and used one of the settings to add this floral stitching to my dress! It's very subtle, and there are definitely a few mistakes but I couldn't be more thrilled about it! Now I'm eyeing the rest of my closet.. and fabric belongings.

My thrifted bowls + normalizing debris buildup

I have thrifted 4 or 5 separately now so I have to stop picking them up but I love these ruffled edge fishbowls! The lid to a glass teapot fits perfectly, so I ordered some extra replacements so I can have lids on them all!

The first two pictures I wanted to include because it was after 5-7 days of being in a bowl with a lid! It still gets all this buildup of white dust like particles. I don't notice it until I swirl the bowl and it looks like a snow globe.

I just pour cold tap water into the bowl, watch the marimo tumble around a bit, pour some water out, and repeat a few times. If the bowl feels slimy, I'll wipe it with my hands and just water. Every few months I'll give them a gentle squeeze and roll them between my hands. And take a little sniff.

Eventually I want to move them back to the 10 gallon tank I bought for them, it's just been easier to keep them in a bowl by the sink at the moment.

My vintage rubber stamp collection!

It started out with a few stamps I thrifted, then I came across a huge lot of over 400 stamps up for auction in an estate sale. You would think that would satiate me forever, but it only made me hungrier for more stamps!!

My marimo!

Last two pictures are of the first batch of marimo I ordered! 6+ months later and now I have many more and recently purchased the 10gal angled tank I've been wanting! I even added their first tank mate (anubias). They look a little silly in their big tank but I hope to add stones, decorative things, and potentially more low light plants!

The tank came with a filter which I've been using and a 6500k light, which is too bright for the marimo and anubias. I put some parchment paper over, which still seemed too bright, so I did pieces of white artist's tape over each of the bulbs. I'd like to eventually get a dimmable light with timer settings, but for now I'll see if this works!
