Meet Audrey

I’ve now had Audrey for 11 months, and yes, I’ve been calling her feather because that’s what failed adoption people named her, and I didn’t want to confuse her. I’ve had a problem with the name. I stutter when I say it for some reason. Well, a few days ago, jokingly, I called her Audrey and she instantly responded, so that is her new name, and guess where I got it from, not Hepburn.

Poor worried puppies in the dinosaur stage.

I’ve had my huskies about a year now and ended up in the hospital twice in one week and came home with a hole clawed into my floor. No, I did not kennel them because my daughter was home upstairs. Oh well, I guess I’ll fix it. That’s part of owning husky.

Husky vacuum question poll.

I was just wondering how many other people with huskies find that they need to wear hearing protection while vacuuming my white husky loves to attack the wand on the vacuum cleaner. It gets so loud that I wear hearing protection.

She is spoiled

She is turning into a spoiled malmute. The old dog is a wire-haired griffon and almost 12 years old and now gets water, in her, or food. So the puppy has now decided she will not eat unless something's added to her food, even if it's water.

Don’t worry, relax

I was just sitting here watching a movie and looked down and saw my three best friends sleeping below me and thought I’ve had the huskies now for all of nine months, so those of you that are stressed out about getting your recent rescue to be part of the family since you rescued them know things will change just be patient and best of luck to you.

She just wanted to say hi

I was texting with someone and all of a sudden I felt a little nose on my ear and a big smile appeared.

I have been working with my rescued huskies to get them to the point where they have a different type of bark for different things and it's really easy to do with a husky because they bark different all the time anyway. Well, I'm sitting at my desk and all of a sudden, I hear a bark from the dog run that I don't understand and I go out there and they're looking up at the sky and there's a drone over the neighborhood. Amazing dogs immediately got an extra special treat.
