Glucose test.

I had my booking appointment today. I am currently 9 weeks and 2 days pregnant. Because I had gestational diabetes with my first pregnancy they want me to have a glucose test with this pregnancy. They want me to go for one at 9 weeks and 4 days so 2 days from now. The midwife told me that 99% of the time the results come back negative so I would need to have another glucose test at 25 weeks pregnant.
After hearing the midwife say that I’m now thinking is it worth going to the glucose test at 9 weeks if it’s gonna come back negative anyway just for me to go back again at 25 weeks?
I was wondering if anyone else has been in this situation before? I’ve just had bloods taken out both my arms and both my hands so I can’t imagine anymore being taken in the next 2 days.

Separation anxiety with my toddler

hello everyone. Just wondering if anyone has been in this situation and what helped?!
I’ve got a nearly 2 year old daughter with severe separation anxiety, she doesn’t like me leaving the room and if I do she will cry her eyes out trying to find me. I am pregnant with baby no.2 and I’m very worried for what she’s going to be like when I need to give birth to my second baby.
She doesn’t like staying with anyone else but me and her dad but for obvious reasons her dad would want to be with me when I’m giving birth…
I was just wondering how everyone went about it as it’s very nerve wracking and it’s constantly on my mind.

Back pain…

Hiya everyone I was just wondering if anyone has experienced back pain in early pregnancy? I’m nearly 6 weeks pregnant and I’ve been having cramps for about a week but they’ve been manageable. They’ve been very subtle.
I woke up today with back ache. Feels like a throbbing feeling at the very bottom of my back. Has anyone has this before and if so what caused it and when did it stop?? Thank you x

Shoulder pain…

Hiya everyone I’ve just joined but I have been googling answers (I know I shouldn’t really do that) and now it’s got me worried.
I am currently 5 weeks and 3 days pregnant. I found out last week and tonight I had a little twinge in my rib and within about 5 seconds it was intense and travelled from my right rib to my left shoulder and lasted about 20 seconds. Since then I haven’t experienced any pain what so ever. It happened right after I leaned down and stretched to grab something and it took my breathe away but it’s completely gone now and after doing some research it’s been coming up about an ectopic pregnancy.
I’m feeling fine now as it happened about an hour ago and haven’t got any pain anywhere now but it just knocked me about when I was reading what it could be.
In my stomach i can only describe it as feeling like flutters but never felt anything like this so early on with my first.
Other than that I’m fine!
Just wondering if anyone has had anything like this before and it turned out to be a healthy pregnancy? As it’s not come back since x
