Pain and pressure with output

Ive been having watery output since yesterday with bursts of non watery that are painful when they come out. Along of pressure above and in stoma during the thick output. Im not sure what going on, if i messed up with something i ate. Im trying to stay hydrated but im getting worried and scared. Im 6 weeks in. Ive had pressure and some pains with output before but this is worse than usual. I checked stoma, shes pink but not as shiny moist as it used to be, is that bad? Thanks

Anyone had a stoma reversal?

So i had the part of my terminal ileum that was inflamed removed. Five weeks ago and have a temporary stoma now, and will be reversed in two months hopefully. Saying things being hard is an understatement. Went from problems w crohns to figuring out stomas. Life is crazy, fuck crohns. But im grateful that i can eat more now, i was starving. Hopefully will have a reversal soon, anyone has experience with that after removing part of their terminal ileum ? How was your recovery and your diet like?

How to get comfortable sleep

3 weeks since surgery, I’m still sleeping on back. Its not easy falling asleep, i keep thinking about the bag , and how its attached to my abdomen. I only take paracetamol , I’m good pain wise. Just very uncomfortable and thinking at night makes it hard to sleep. I take melatonin but doesn’t always work, and I’m scared to try opioids, for addiction and they used to make me nauseous.

Uncomfortable

Help me, I’m being hyper aware of my stoma, stoma bag and how uncomfortable it is. Im not sitting comfortably, its annoying me so much , im only two weeks into this but its bothering me so much. I know a solution is take everything off but i dont want to deal with putting a new base and bag on.

Abdominal pain

Hi , I’m new. Surgery almost two weeks ago. Just had some fast output with abdominal pain after my stoma was quiet for two hours. Is this normal? Is this scary? Pain was relieved with paracetamol. I dont know what to expect can someone tell me

Anxiety over changing base and bag

First post , hello everyone.
First time was traumatic. I dont know if i cleaned the stoma from poo enough, i saw red, poop came out while doing it, idk if i warmed the base enough to stick ( its stuck ok now) . It was just traumatic. Its a two piece system of bag and base, coloplast. First week of ileostomy. Cant stop thinking about next time i have to change the whole thing. Emptying the bag is fine, waking up to do it at night is a pain while still recovering from surgery.

I feel sad. Im dealing with so much. Rinvoq 45 mg week 7 and high dose of prednisone. I dont know if it will work, if i can taper down, if i will need surgery soon. It all sucks, i cant even eat normal on my birthday. Im just so sad. I want normal health so badly.

What week were you able to taper down? Im on week 5 and symptoms get worse if i go down with prednisone. How long does rinvoq take to fully work? Thanks for any feedback.
