Can we please put the Jill rumor to rest? For good
Petition for us all to put the rumor that Jill asked for more money and the other ladies didn’t back her up to rest. I asked a while back if anyone knew where this rumor started or if there are any sources, and no one could provide evidence. I’ve also looked this up as well.
As far as I could find, there are NO credible sources that back up this story. None of the ladies have ever said anything like this happening. No one on set has mentioned it. So this appears to be just a messy rumor from back in the day.
Jill’s story has not changed since 2007. The explanation she gave on the set of Black-ish was pretty similar to what she said in interviews back then. And she’s not even the only actor to make a decision like this. Many people leave their roles to pursue other things. Plus if there was this massive blowout, you mean to tell me NO ONE has thought to mentioned it? Ever?
