Adopting a new cat

This may be a bit confusing but stay with me. I have an older cat named MILA. She’s black with green eyes and she had four kittens. We got her from one of my family members because she was an outdoor cat and they didn’t even know she was pregnant. It was a surprise to everyone. We gave two kittens away and kept two for ourselves naming them Cookie and Butterscotch. Cookie is a black and white cat. Butterscotch is a brownish orange cat. Unfortunately, cookie passed away in March of this year as a kitten. Butterscotch seemed alright but it was clear that once in a while he’d try and search for her. She always played with him, was there when he ate, when he drinks water, and they were stuck at the waist. But now that she’s gone it feels off as if he understands but doesn’t. He plays with me or by himself because his mother wants nothing to do with his chaotic nature. Cookie was more calm and reserved like her mom. It’s clear that Butterscotch wants a play mate. I don’t know if it’s smart to introduce another cat. I’m thinking of adopting only because I do want to help a cat who may need a home but I’m wondering what other people think.

I did repost this because I forgot to show you all the pictures of all the kittens so yes this is a repost you’re not crazy.

Finding a summer job

Since summer time is coming I’m finally available to get a job and work but I’ve been finding it so hard to get a job that’s open to minors. It just seems like everything is closed or I need to have already graduated high school to even get a starting position. Anyone has any recommendations for any Somerville jobs that accepted students because I’ve been trying online has had no luck. Any advice is welcomed. Thank you.

AI used in customer service

I really hope that I’m not alone in this. I’m a huge shopper because I always love decorating and buying items for my room but I’ve been very pissed with Amazon customer service or any in general. I mostly shop on Amazon for the convenience of ordering and waiting for two or less days to get my items but now it’s a literal nightmare.

I have to constantly ask for a “real person” or a “real customer agent” if I have any issues with a product or need a refund which is hell. I just feel like it makes the process difficult especially since as a buyer I can tell that the AI isn’t trained to answer complex questions that I may have and it’s sooo annoying. I also hate the update of not being able to find items to compare to the ones on the cart because that damn AI load screen comes up and it gives me a massive explanation about certain products and most of the time it doesn’t even give me products that match the item in my cart.

At this point I don’t even know but I truly wish that Amazon just stops this and also other stores stop with the AI customer service because it’s sooo annoying and just ruins the experience.

Opinions on at-home treadmills

Hey guys so I’ve been in a pickle about walking treadmills and treadmills in general. I’m starting my weight loss journey and I feel as though getting it could be beneficial. I’m not really sure about how everything works but I’ll figure it out. As of right now I’m still on the fence about it and while I could go the gym I’m a bit nervous and not as social as I’d like to be. Plus I go on regular morning walks and after I’m done with that I usually just rot but if I have the treadmill I might actually lock-in like I’m supposed to. If you do have a walking treadmill I want to know how much it cost and what you recommend. If you don’t I’d still like to know if getting it could even be worth it especially since I’ve seen mixed reviews and a lot of people have said that you need really expensive ones which I’m not in the mood to splurge a lot of money on. I can see myself paying 100 to 200 max but no more.
