Inflated quote on TVS Ronin Base in Guwahati – DPC logistics & mandatory accessory kits?
Planning to buy the TVS Ronin Base (Lightning Black) in Guwahati and collected quotes from two local showrooms. Both quotes include extra fees like "DPC logistics," "safety kit," and "acc accessories opt." When I pushed back, the sales team claimed these charges are mandatory and can’t be waived, even insisting that the saree guard fee is bundled into the accessories kit.
Are dealers legally allowed to force logistics and accessory charges on us? I know saree guards are mandatory per CMVR rules, but shouldn't it come standard with the ex-showroom price? Has anyone successfully gotten these charges removed in Assam? Advice on dealing with them would be appreciated!
