Contact syncing - please help 😭

hi! I’m a new google voice user, but I’m so confused what is happening…

initially, when I saved a number into GV, it was adding it but also syncing it to my phones contacts. I don’t want that, so per a Google search, I disabled the permission in the iOS settings. Now, when I save a contact in GV it’s NOT showing up in GV and going straight into my phone contacts 😅😅 screen recording below..

from more google searches I have checked/done the following..

disabled permission in the contacts
checked my “GMail” app in the settings to toggle off contacts. There was NOT a contacts options
I saw some things mentioning the generic iPhone mail app. I do NOT have the mail app on my phone and I’ve never used it in my life.
I checked my “contact accounts” and the email that is associated with my GV is NOT listed (it never was)

is there a way to fix this? Or do I need to just live with the GV contacts in my phone 😭😭

Caregiver Communication - experience with texting

hello all! question about some texting applications with families.

TLDR; I’d like to avoid my personal number, but also want to ensure I’m compliant with HIPAA. Does anyone have any experience with BloomText or CarePatron? both appear to be free HIPAA compliant texting applications? or have any other experiences for something free/cheap? thank you in advance!

MORE INFO: I’ve been a BCBA for 5 years now, 4 of which was at a one organization. I recently switched to a new organization and have been helping them with getting their ABA clinic off the ground in my city/area! it’s a multi-disciplinary pediatric clinic and they have some locations in other states with ABA but it’s the first one here. it’s been a great experience so far!

At my old clinic, the organization paid for access to a work phone number for us to communicate with parents. Originally through RingCentral, then later changed to a texting feature via teams. However, here nobody has a work number. I appreciated it so much as it made an easy work/life balance while also allowing for quick/easy communication with families. when I talked with my regional director about it she was like ”they can call the office number” and seemed very confused. I’ve realized there is definitely not a need for the OTs and SLPs to have a specific number for families. I think the organization doesn’t realize exactly how much more we communicate with parents regularly. I have BCBA contacts at other locations at other states and they both told me they use email or their personal number. I have been keeping to emails with families, but have had some families miss my emails so I’ve been really missing the ease of texting. however, I’d really like to avoid my personal number for a number of reasons. I also want to ensure I’m compliant with HIPAA. Does anyone have any experience with BloomText or CarePatron? email error - please help

hello! First thank you SO much for making this app! I was so sad to see TV time go so this is amazing and I’m eager to get logged in!

My problem is that I’m trying to set up my account. Everytime I try to import my data, it says that it’s already in an existing account. I did upload my data a week or two ago. My issue is I cannot figure out which email I used. I have tried all my emails, searched all of them for previous bingers emails and can’t find anything… I even tried emails I haven’t used in years and my Apple ID. I cannot find anything ): my friend said I should’ve gotten two emails when I uploaded my data but I didn’t even get that ):

I’m wondering if I mistyped my email when I signed up and uploaded my data..? I emailed bingers support on the 5th but haven’t heard anything. can anyone help me out?

Mold/mildew 😭

hello all! we built our catio about 2 years ago and our babies LOVE it. We got new windows installed a couple weeks ago. we had to take some of it apart for this, including the roof. We decided it was a good time to do a deep clean and redo the roof (the old one did NOT leak but was just an immense pain to put up and take down so we came up with a new solution).

Well, in doing this we discovered some mold/mildew on the under side of some of the shelves. 😭 we’ve gotten A LOT of heavy rain the last week, so I’m unsure if this problem already existed and we missed it, or if it happened in the last week with the rain 😭😭 most seem fine, but its definitely present on some, I attached a photo. It’s all pressure treated lumber, painted with an outdoor paint so I’m surprised and upset this happened ): anyone have any experience with this? best way to clean it or more so - prevent it from happening again? the wood still feels solid so I’m hopeful we can save it without replacing it. do we think we need to rip up the outdoor rug glued to it too? I don’t see any sign of mold on the rug
