So if doing gbl to ghb, with sodium bicarb, I boiled the bicarb in water, then slowly added gbl while it was at a light boil and left for half an hour. At the end of half hour I was left with thick white goop, this will not dissolve in water, but have no idea what it could be as only water gbl and bicarb were added. The ph is 8-9 which is a bit too high, it can’t be solid ghb as it won’t dissolve and there’s way too much for the amount of gbl I used.
