I'm a ground driver and I'm in a P1100. My route is in a very rural area in the midwest with only two lane roads and gravel. My stops range from 100-120, usually 300-350 miles and around 150-250 mostly large packages packed to the brim. Mostly chewy, tires, and engine parts. I've learned that manual mode is my friend and that ground cloud is ass.

I end up wasting a lot of time ending up in someone's driveway with nowhere to turn around. So many times I've had to just leave someone's stuff at the mailbox because the alternative is backing down a long ass driveway on a skinny gravel road with tight turns and trees on all sides. Not to mention the 50 chewy boxes with many unfriendly very large country dogs who don't like new people lol.

I'm finding it difficult to be done at a reasonable time because on top of having a very long (distance) route, the entire terminal also has to waste an hour and a half in the morning waiting for express before we can leave. Does this sound familiar to any other grounders here? Does anyone else use manual mode?
