ive spent around a week or two and i found the exact file that controls the dust effect.

the reason im trying to remove it from my game is because ragdolls keep producing the dust effect, leading to fps drops

ive tried using a few addons that supposedly remove the effect, but unsurprisingly neither of them worked.

after that didnt work, i went into the game files myself and found the vtf and vtm's

i edited them myself, and that didnt help either.

after that, i outright deleted the effects, but now theyre replaced by missing textures

(i have every single vtf and vtm in a folder in case i need to change anything)
