so this is gonna be rough, I saw the ending of the movie when I was a kid 96-03. In the ending, all I remember is that the lead character is sitting in an armchair in what looks like a study in an 80s/90s mansion. across from him is another man who I’m pretty sure is his brother. The main character is dead and his brother is talking to him about how he died. It flashes back to the night of his death when him and his wife got into a fight. i think the wife killed him, but he also might have killed her. I’ve run this through chatgpt and none of the movies it spits out are it. I also think the plot of the movie involved him being in a psych ward but that could be wrong. Any ideas or did i just dream this up and trick myself into thinking it was real?

The first movie all i can remember is the main character is an older (45+) male sitting in a study with his brother. theyre discussing the last night the main character was alive (i think) and we see the night play out the way it actually happened with either the main character killing his girlfriend or the girlfriend killing him. The house theyre in is on the higher end, and the main character might have been a psychologist.

The second movie was about a mother with i believe a mute child . again can’t really remember much except the ending has her outside in the rain at night hugging her kid infront of what i believe was a glass sculpture, maybe a glass spiral staircase
