Israel is using AI to generate kill lists in Lebanon

Nabih Bulos did this incredible investigation on Israel's targeted killing of a man outside his family's home.

Apparently Israel hoovers up massive amounts of surveillance data in Lebanon and Palestine, then runs it through AI to generate their kill lists.

can I get some hate for the meta glasses in the chat?

my cousin rolled up to our family lunch with the meta glasses on. I stared at him and asked if those are the glasses that record people without their consent and he glowered at me, muttered something about how there's a light on when they're recording so it's fine, and proceeded to throw a fit about how "he's being so judged right now." mind you, he's 45 and has two kids.

I'd just love some shared hatred of those goddamn glasses, and maybe some talking points the next time I have to see his stupid face

I'm doing a Honey I Shrunk the Party episode! What's your favorite "they're small" trope?

Kinda self-explanatory - I've shrunk the party down to the size of their minis (side quest to exterminate some dretches in a mechanical portal). They're done with the portal part, now their goal is to get back to the table so the wizard can resize them.

I just realized that because they're mini-sized, I can use the real room we're in as the dungeon! Aka put their minis up on a shelf and give them the goal of getting their minis back to the table.

I'm excited by the concept but haven't thought of enough fun tropes/bits/encounters yet. Does this spark any cool ideas in anyone?

Some thoughts:

  • they've already been swiped at by the cat
  • I was thinking a crow could pick one of them up and fly around the tower?
  • ???

What's your current favorite meal prep for the work week? I'll go first.

I love mine but I'm scared of getting bored with it. I marinate ten eggs, cook some rice, and massage some kale on Sundays. Then when lunchtime hits I add some miso + butter to the rice, toss the kale in my vinaigrette of the month (usually miso ginger), add some kimchi and avocado and BOOM, perfect lunch.

What do you like to do? Give me ideas so I don't ruin my favorite through repetition!
