I’m at a loss for what to name her

She’s a funny little thing. Very much on her worst behavior at all times 😂 not sure of exactly what she is but from the guess is husky/collie/hound/pit based on parents - will be doing a DNA after all her vetting has been settled.

I adopted a beautiful black shepherd from our local shelter on Monday (honestly amazingly smart for being 6m old with no training). BUT the nipping is out of control. It starts as soon as she’s let out of her crate in the mornings until she goes to sleep at night. With all of the other dogs I’ve raised from pups, the high pitch squeal and ouch worked fairly quickly. But Zoe thinks it’s playing I guess because she just goes back for more (which is not fun for kids that are the same height as she is). I’ve tried telling her no bite, then giving her a toy. But she drops it and goes back to nipping. I’m not sure how else to correct it, so any tips would be amazing.

And how do you correct the barking to get what she wants? She’ll look you in your face and bark until you get up and do whatever it is she’s mad about

She’s outside running and sniffing with our older 2 dogs most of the day (we have a .7 acre privacy fenced in property). Or she’s inside following me around (I’m a SAHM so she’s never left alone). We crate her from 11pm (when I go to sleep). She’s let out from 5-5:30am when my husband wakes up for work. Then again when I wake up at 9:30am. And she can come and go in/out all day.
