Help Us Settle This Interior Design Debate 😭 Neutral Zebra Rug vs Dark Green/Maroon Rug for a Small Space?
My partner and I are trying to pick a rug for under our small dining table and cannot agree 😭 He wants either a maroon rug or a dark green rug, but I want a more neutral zebra-print rug because our dining chairs already have dark green seating, and we also have a large REDDD hardtop piece from his convertible sitting in the living room. Since the space is pretty small, I feel like adding another dark-colored rug might make everything feel too heavy or crowded, while a neutral rug would help balance the space and make it feel more cohesive. He thinks the darker rug would make the room feel richer and moodier.
