A cave house designed around natural light, stone and the forest

I explored a concept for a modern cave house where the architecture feels carved from the landscape rather than placed on top of it.

The living room uses a sunken seating area, warm timber and panoramic glazing overlooking the forest, while the bathroom continues the same language with sculptural stone walls, natural light and a freestanding stone bathtub.

The idea was to combine organic architecture, biophilic design and contemporary luxury without losing the raw character of the cave.

Would you actually live in a house like this?

Does this kind of lighting make sense?

I am planning this type of lighting in false ceiling. The square ones would be panel light and circle one would be COB. Can someone please confirm if it makes sense to keep the lighting like this? Or if someone can please suggest some other lighting plan?

Should I paint the whole bathroom pink? Or should I keep the trim and door white then the walls and ceiling pink?

Planning to paint my bathroom pink ignore all the samples on the wall I am going to use bridal pink by Benjamin Moore. Should I paint everything pink? Including the door and trim? Should I paint only the walls and ceiling pink then keep the door and trim white? Should I paint everything pink and keep only the trim white? Let me know your guys thoughts. The bathroom is very small.

Need suggestion to make it better

So we just had our wall painted and this was not the colour we intended and now we can't afford to put another colour, idk if it's actually looking very bad or it's looking bad to me as i didn't have imagined this colour,

I am thinking of making some tropical designs in it after awhile, what's your opinion

Any ideas for my bedroom?

So I moved in a few months ago and I feel close to what I wanted but not quite there yet, I love color and maximalism but I feel like the walls are missing something or maybe the colors together? I wanted curtains but when I got them the blinds made it impossible for me to install the rods so I didn’t know what to do. On the right is a tapestry and 55 inch tv and the left is my closet which is white and also looks unfinished and boring. Lmk what you guys think.

Honest opinions on this space.

So I've been trying my hand at interior decoration to develop my taste and pretty much enjoy myself along the way. So I did this reading room and would like your views on it. Be honest. Also if you could go into detail I'd appreciate.. Point of note, this is a challenge to design a space inspired by Ando Tandos style which is exposed concrete, minimalism,clean geometry , light and shadow and so on. So far this is among the designs I've done and I have tried following decorators on social media to get their sense of style and develop a direction when I am planning to decorate or design a space. Btw I did Interior design but I always felt my designs were pretty good when it comes to drafting but the moment I do 3d they lack the wow effect and are pretty flat. That's why I need your views and critiques.

Moved to a vintage classic house, came with console. Not sure how to style it. Picture 2 or 3?

Hey! Need help decorating this table, it came with the house and I like the marble on it although a bit indecisive on the gold but I’ll be keeping it for now (This is not in the US so a classical style is very common) Which option is best? Open to suggestions. Should I do a white ceramic vase instead?

Warm Mediterranean Interiors with a Touch of Indochine Character

A warm, layered interior concept combining Mediterranean architecture with subtle Indochine influences.

Soft plaster walls, arched openings, dark walnut, woven rattan, deep green cabinetry and warm brass details create a relaxed but refined atmosphere throughout the living room, kitchen and bedroom.

The design focuses on natural materials, earthy tones and gentle curves, with sunlight playing a major role in shaping the spaces.

I wanted the interiors to feel timeless, calm and lived-in rather than overly luxurious.

Which space would you choose: the living room, kitchen or bedroom?

Overwhelmed

I finally moved into a bigger apartment after many years in a too-small condo. But I have no idea what to put where, especially the TV. Over the fireplace seems ideal, but after reading, it’s not a great idea. I appreciate any help, this was something that I looked forward to for years, so I really want to make it look like a home. It’s been several weeks since I moved in and the disorganization is mentally affecting me.
Thanks in advance!

A Dark Contemporary Apartment with Warm Wood and City Views

A contemporary apartment designed around a dark, refined material palette, combining matte black cabinetry, warm wood, stone, and carefully layered lighting.

The deep tones create a moody atmosphere, while the large windows bring in natural light and open the living space toward the city. Warm timber niches and soft accent lighting add contrast and keep the interior from feeling overly cold.

I particularly like the balance between the dark architectural shell and the warmer, more tactile elements throughout the space.

Would you choose a dark interior like this for an apartment with a city view?

What type of arch do you prefer?

There is something about an arch that can completely define a space.

Here, the sculptural, Moorish-inspired arch creates a sense of arrival before you ever reach the front door. We softened the architecture with warm plaster, honed travertine floors, aged bronze, rich wood and just a few carefully chosen pieces, allowing the form of the space to remain the focus.

We love the tension between the historic influence of the arch and the quieter, more contemporary palette surrounding it.

What type of arch do you prefer?

A soft Mediterranean arch, a classic Roman arch, a Moorish scalloped arch like this one, or something much simpler and more modern?

Ikea Closet Design Input

I want to install an Ikea closet in a master bedroom closet. Will it look good to have the dark wood glass doors in combination with the oak floors or should I go with the classic white framed doors. The bed frame is a dark walnut color and no other furniture is purchased. AI Pictures attached of the two options vs the current closet.

Opinions on entry/sitting room/dining room combo color drenching

So I live in a small midwestern bungalow and I want to bring some life into my house, esp for winter. I lived in a home once that had a bright yellow entryway/staircase completely drenched in sunshine yellow, which made me feel joyful every time I stepped inside. I’d like to replicate that, while also keeping in mind I live with 2 tornados of humans and I’m constantly chasing their messes.

I would love some opinions!

Wall color Suggestions

What would add to this space to make it moody and spa like? The tiles cannot be changed. Think paint and decor.

Advice needed

I have this colour of parquet flooring (oak, finished with clear, matte oil) and I’m in the process of buying other furniture (clearly).
I want to get a big bookshelf for the corner close to the radiator but I’m stuck. If I get an oak cabinet will the colours clash? I want the bookshelf to be a focus point but not look ugly contrasting the floor.
Can anyone share pictures of their light flooring and wooden furniture so I can get an idea? Thank you!

Help me design my bedroom

I have painted my walls Nutmeg White (Dulux) which has pink undertones and I have ordered a bed with a ivory cream headboard (which I cannot change). They don't seem to match.

I have a sort of griege/brown carpet.

What can I do to make this all more cohesive?

Do i change the colour of my walls again?

Or panel behind the bed, and either make it white or work on the pink undertones and paint it a Blush pink?

What can I do?

How would you plan this room as a bedroom? King bed + wardrobes + desk + piano

Hi! I’m moving into this house with my family and I’m trying to figure out how I could best use this space as my bedroom. I’d really appreciate some layout/design advice!
Especially from anyone interested in Feng Shui!

My family will be using the two other bedrooms shown on the floor plan, so I’m choosing between this larger room and the smaller bedroom upstairs. The current planning is for me to use the larger room, but we haven’t furnished anything yet, so I’m open to changing the plan. I’m coming up with some good options to discuss with my family.

The main room is ~29.4 m², with a connected ~10.8 m² room separated by large glass double doors.
I’m trying to decide if the smaller room should be a part of my bedroom. I’m concerned about how much privacy/noise separation I would get if it wouldn’t be. But combining the two places would mean by bedroom would be huge.

What I need to fit:

* King-size bed
* 2 maybe even 3 wardrobes

What I’d like to fit:

* 2 bedside tables
* Small electric piano
* Desk for studying and doing my makeup (rare occasion)
* Maybe a chair/reading area? Sleeping sofa? Hangout area? Since the room is so big

The other bedroom is small and I can’t see how I’d fit a king bed along with my furniture? I’m willing to reconsider that option.

How would you lay this out?

Thanks you in advance!!
