How would you plan this room as a bedroom? King bed + wardrobes + desk + piano
Hi! I’m moving into this house with my family and I’m trying to figure out how I could best use this space as my bedroom. I’d really appreciate some layout/design advice!
Especially from anyone interested in Feng Shui!
My family will be using the two other bedrooms shown on the floor plan, so I’m choosing between this larger room and the smaller bedroom upstairs. The current planning is for me to use the larger room, but we haven’t furnished anything yet, so I’m open to changing the plan. I’m coming up with some good options to discuss with my family.
The main room is ~29.4 m², with a connected ~10.8 m² room separated by large glass double doors.
I’m trying to decide if the smaller room should be a part of my bedroom. I’m concerned about how much privacy/noise separation I would get if it wouldn’t be. But combining the two places would mean by bedroom would be huge.
What I need to fit:
King-size bed
2 maybe even 3 wardrobes
What I’d like to fit:
2 bedside tables
Small electric piano
Desk for studying and doing my makeup (rare occasion)
Maybe a chair/reading area? Sleeping sofa? Hangout area?
The other bedroom is small and I can’t see how I’d fit a king bed along with my furniture? I’m willing to reconsider that option.
How would you lay this out?
