Z13 SteamOS wake-on-bluetooth?

I've been doing some research and found this interesting post,

Long question short, has anybody tried whether wake-on-bluetooth feature works on Z13? especially if you're on linux-based operating system (CachyOS/Bazzite/SteamOS) rather than on windows 11?

Thanks! would love to hear any opinions.

How does BIOS/Driver update work on SteamOS?

As a disclaimer, I'm planning to opt out of windows completely and transform my Z13 into Steam gaming machine.

  1. Out of the three, (Bazzite, CachyOS, SteamOS) which one supports best in terms of update supports? such as: BIOS, drivers updates etc.
  2. In windows environment, I know we can update either through armoury crate/AMD software/G-helper/Windows update but how does it work on the three linux based operating systems mentioned above?

Thanks!

Is Usb-c bypass support a software issue or hardware issue?

As mentioned, I would love to know whether z13's bypass support can be potentially resolved through software (Bios) update or is strictly tied to a limitation of hardware?

Thanks

Anybody knows where to get portable DC charger?

I've tried, and sold my slimQ charger brick (240W). The powerbrick itself is nice and compact but the cables are hefty so it felt a bit pointless.

I came across kingma 260w charger on Aliexpress and it looks quite promising. It's got xt60 cable just like the ones they give out as proprietary charger for onexplayer super x.

Has anybody tested this one out? How's the usage? is it worth the $$?

Hello new z13 2025 user!

I've been eyeing on z13 second hand for a few months and finally got my dream machine. I used zephyrus g14 before this so I am aware of stuffs like ghelper and Asus environment etc.

I'm thinking of installing SteamOS on this, and portably use it as a steam machine with a steam controller I have.

Are there any info/tips that is worth to read for newcomers like myself?

As this device has been released over a good year and a half, I'm sure this community is well informed already

Looking for a pogo pin cover for z13

Hey there. I'm most likely going to use this as a steam machine.

I am not planning to use keyboard so much, so the proprietary pogo pin keyboard cover for z13 is going to only weigh me on my portability.

Has anyone found any product that does not have keyboard but instead just a cover that covers the screen?

Would my usability suffice for the experience of Super X?

Hello fellow OneXplayers.

As the title goes, I'm wondering whether I would enjoy the gaming experience if I purchased the super x. I would appreciate if any superX users could give me an advice

My initial plan was to get a console, preferably a PS5 for running demanding games (AAA titles), yet i came across news that Steam Machine would be coming out soon and was hoping to wait for them to release. Then I found out about the Z13/Super X, which essentially is a tablet that performs better in a more compact volume for space. I don't really have a problem with spending $2000+ for Super X, as the form factor looks very interesting anyways. (My current setup: office laptop / switch 2) Used to have the ROG Ally X (no Xbox version) a few years back.

SO, I'm thinking of swapping SuperX from windows to bazzite (or SteamOS) and using it solely as a portable gaming machine with only these two locations:

  1. Plugged into TV via HDMI + DC charger so that i can use an external controller to wake the device up + turns TV on automatically. Turbo mode, use full 75W for best performance
  2. Bring it to my bed without a charger, and enjoy 1-2 hours of good gaming. Performance mode, use 55w for better performance

-----Questions-----

Q1) Would the above-mentioned experience flow seamless?

Q2) How future-proof is the AI395+ Max? Would it last at least 3-4 years or even longer? given that I aim to run 1080p/1440p high-ultra settings for all high-demanding games?

Thank you so much for your help!
