London Pop-Up Haul

This was my first up pop-up sale and I found a lot of the info here useful, so just adding my own in case it helps anyone.
My haul:
- LOTR set - £100
- The Iliad - £50
- 1984 - £25
- DrStrange comic (not pictured) - Free
- Cookie - Free
I didn’t find 1984 out, but based on advice from here at the end of my time just asked if they happened to have a copy. They kindly found not one, but two! The latest version and the blue 2014 version. I took one and a lady by me took the other.
We arrived quite late, 9:05am, and got in at 13:55. So, yeah, expect a wait aha. Apparently even those arriving from 7:30 had to wait a similar amount of time, they just got to go in first. Staff mentioned there was a LE Count of Monte Cristo that went in the first 40mins and some other LEs from storage.
Staff were lovely, would try to keep your spirits up, showed off a copy of the upcoming GOTR LE. The room with the books was quite small, felt really cramped tbh. They refreshed books occasionally. I’m not sure what happens if you’re in-between refreshes, they had just refreshed before we went in and like 60% of books were taken when we left.
They had lots of the new Iliad and Odyssey LE sets for £500, or you could buy the books separately for £150 each.
Overall a good time but expect to dedicate half the day to it. I personally wouldn’t have bothered if it rained but thankfully the weather worked out.
