Podrían multarme a mí?

Si quiero formalizarme, pero primero quiero hacer la prueba

Did my soap even saponify? Extra hard soapbar

(very small recipe to test, I heat it in a very small double boiler)

Recipe

Oils (never made this mix before)

(80%) palm oil - - - - - - - - - - 56 grams / 1.98 oz

(10%) stearic acid - - - - - - - 7 grams / 0.25 oz

(10%) coconut oil, 92deg -- 7 grams / 0.25 o

Lye water 1:1 (first time this ratio)

Lye (NAOH) - - - - 9.91 grams / 0.35 oz

Water - - - - - - - - - 9.91 grams / 0.35 oz

Oils were at like 160°F (71°C), lye at 148°F (64°C)

I didn't even have to stick blend, I just used a spoon and a rubber spatula, it saponified(?) quite fast I think I had to mix like 30 times at most?

What's your opinion, did it saponify/trace?

If it didn't, how could I know?

Most of my other recipes are more normal 😅

Why is if said that hot process soaps look rustic?

Do you really there is a big important difference between the look of plain cold and hot process soaps?

(I mean soaps without swirls nor anything like that, plain solid colors)

What's your opinion on true soaps as solid shampoo bars?

I've seen that true soaps shouldn't be used as shampoos, but then I also find many recipes by people that *seem* knowy (but they don't have formal studies to back it up)

What happens if I add oil after saponification?

What would happen if I made hot process castile soap with 0% superfat and added oil?

Would it be oily soap or would it fine?

Would _selecting which oil doesn't saponify_ have any benefit at all? Like could I do it with jojoba as the _later added superfat_?

Can *any* soap be remelt?

Can I make my "normal" hot process soaps and remelt them once they've been "fully saponified"?

Or should I add stuff like dyes, coffee grounds, etc after it has transformed into the gel phase?

Flavor for limp balm, how to, is lorann OK?

*[I don't live in the USA nor a first world country]*

I want to make lip balms, what can I use to flavor them?

So far I know I've to use "oil based" flavors so they mix

I can get the 1 dram versions, but some have these after their names

Natural

Oil

Flavor

Natural oil

Natural flavor

Should I use only the ones that say oil, or is any okay?

e.g.

Banana cream flavor

Lime oil natural

Blueberry natural flavors

[TOMT] Very "upbeat" song (no lyrics?), name was similar to doper than dope

The name was a "adjective +" than "adjective"

Song is not new at all

The song is similar to this Chicken dance but even more upbeat
