Looking for ₹5 lakh first investment, built a dedicated platform for pet owners in India

I'm building platform for all pets: A dedicated digital home for every pet. Their own profile, their own followers, their own community.

What it actually solves:

Your dog gets lost. Status changes to Lost on ScrollPet. Every follower gets notified. Community helps find them fast.

You want a mating partner for your pet. Browse by breed and location instead of random WhatsApp groups.

You have puppies coming. Followers get notified automatically. No lost numbers, no missed buyers.

You need to give your pet up. Community finds them a home before abandonment happens.

What's live now: pet profiles, social feed, explore page, community rooms, chat, status system. Built solo with zero funding.

A major feature is coming that I'm not ready to announce publicly yet.

Solo founder. Real product. Real problem. No traction yet — being fully honest about that.

Looking for ₹5,00,000 as a first investment — structured as ₹1,25,000 monthly tranches so you can evaluate before committing the next one.

Revenue model happy to discuss privately.

DM me if interested.

Accidentally watched this underrated shayari + comedy duo at 2am and now I'm going to their live show tomorrow in Chandigarh

Okay so the thumbnail was terrible, the views are incredibly low for how good this content is but still I clicked and watched more than 30 minutes without skipping.

"Ishq Ki Diary" is kinda mix of shayari, confessions and comedy. One second you're laughing, next second you're feeling things you exactly what need for at midnight.

These guys are genuinely underrated and I don't understand why maybe because they are new. And I'm guessing their Chapter 2 show tomorrow probably still has seats left.

So I bought a ticket. Going tomorrow. Will you join?

Watch Chapter 1 on YouTube first and tell me these guys don't deserve.

All breeders are frauds or we are just mixing them up with Dog Dealers (Middlemen)?

I’ve seen a heartbreak on this sub recently about sick puppies, but I'm also seeing a lot of toxic shaming toward grieving owners just because their dog isn't an Indie. Losing a pet you just bonded with is devastating. Instead of attacking each other, we need to look at who is actually scamming buyers and hurting these animals.

Here are a few harsh realities about the Indian pet market and why middlemen have taken over:

  • Every Dog Deserves Empathy: Whether someone adopts a beautiful Indie from the street or buys a specific breed because it fits their lifestyle that was not pup's fault he didn't ask to be here. Shaming an owner who was in love with dog breed that not just origin form India doesn't make him/her bad person. The real enemies are the people exploiting the demand.
  • The Reality of Real Breeders: Genuine ethical breeders are usually terrible marketers. Many are doing their regular day jobs or they spend all their time actually caring for their dogs instead of running fancy Instagram pages. Because they aren't salespeople, they struggle to find direct buyers.
  • How Middlemen Take Advantage: A real breeder cannot keep an entire litter of puppies in their house forever, it gets too crowded and too expensive to feed them all. Dog dealers (middlemen) know this. They enter in, buy the puppies cheaply from the overwhelmed breeders and then flip them to you at double the price.
  • The "Mother" Test: If you don't physically visit the home and see the puppy’s mother with your own eyes, you are almost certainly dealing with a broker not the original breeder.
  • Keep It Local: Avoid buying a puppy that has to be shipped or travel for days. That amount of stress can destroy a young pup's immune system. Always try to find a breeder as close to you as possible so you can drive there, see the condition and bring the pup home safely.
  • The First Few Days: No matter where a dog comes from whether adopted from a shelter or bought locally deep research beforehand, immediate vet checks and strict quarantine in the first few days are absolutely critical for their survival.

Let's stop fighting in the comments and stop letting shady middlemen hide behind the title of 'breeder' while innocent pups and owners pay the ultimate price. Do your research, buy local and demand to see the mother!
