I-485 denied

I got my I-485 denied last month because of USCIS error. They messed up my A-number and my name with another person who already has green card. I am in my F1/OPT so no removal proceedings. They claimed in the denial letter that I can stay here even my I-485 was denied because I already had green card. They told me to apply for I-90 to ask for replace the green card instead of I485, and they approved I-130. We sent I-290B and have not received anything from then. Is there anyone filed 290B and get approved? How long is it going to take and what would happen after I-290B approve? Will I have green card if my I-290B approved? I am so stressed right now. I have never been out of status during the time staying here. I went home twice every year and renews visa. I thought my case is really strong but now I’m just waiting and don’t know the timeline for I-290B

I-290B for USCIS error

I just sent I-290B because I got my I-485 denied by USCIS. They messed up my A number and A-file. Do you think it would take long for them to fix their problem? Has anyone have this happened to you before? My OPT will expire February 2027, if they can’t process and give green card before that, should I go back to school under F1 or I-485 pending?

Updated on I-485 denial notice

I got a denial notice from USCIS because they claimed that I already have a green card while I don’t. I just realized my A number for I-485 form and A number for OPT EAD are different. I saw they were not matched but I didnt know A number has to be matched. Is that a weird thing cause to the denial? Is there anyone experience this before?

USCIS DENIED BECAUSE OF THEIR MISTAKE

My I-130 was approved but I-485 was denied because they claimed that I had a green card 20 years ago. The first time I came to the US was 7 years ago, they made a mistake obviously. We tried to call them to schedule an appointment with field office, they said there was another girl has same name with me. They would call me back or email me. I just received their email yesterday that they couldn’t schedule my appointment. My lawyer said there is no way now but submit the reconsider form, which is $800. Has anyone have suffered this before and what should you do?

Denied without any NOID or RFE

Hi, i just got my i-485 denied. The i130 was approved right after that. F1 AOS married USC. I went to school and graduated. In my F1 OPT now, valid status. I don’t understand why they denied my I485.
