I know a lot of you are into comic books, but here's a brand new one that I think might interest you all. It's about a guy who suffered from a horrifically debilitating disease that took his entire life. The story is told in excruciating detail, and the artwork is amazing!

  1. How did this happen?
  2. What kind of disability did he have?
  3. What kind of treatment did he undergo?

Can't believe I have 4 joints in my body. Only one of them is working.

5'7, 125lbs, Caucasian

So I am just wondering if anyone knows how long I've had to wait to be diagnosed with ASD. I've had symptoms for a long time, but the doctors haven't really noticed it.

I don't know if it's related, but my mom had the same condition so I have an ASD diagnosis. She's very relieved that I get to keep it private.

My symptoms started back in middle school. I started getting mild to moderate social anxiety, which was pretty mild at the time. I started having random bruises and dislocations, which lasted for a few years. In the last year, I've been having a lot of trouble walking, and I have a lot of trouble speaking. I've had to stop playing video games because my hand would just keep going numb after a while. I started taking PT and ergonomic braces at 16, so I'm not too far removed from my ASD diagnosis. I also started having trouble focusing on things that normally require a lot of focus. I've always been able to get out of bed, but I started having this weird "time out" where I would feel like I was going to pass out.

I have a lot of trouble sleeping, and have a lot of trouble staying asleep. I've tried meditation, reading, reading about my condition, and even watching a bunch of YouTube videos about ASD. I can't find any information about ASD that I think is helpful or relevant to my situation, so I am just wondering if anyone has any tips for getting the most out of my sleep?

Do you think my mom got breast cancer?

18M

5'4"

130 lbs

No meds

Non smoker

No other medical issues

I have been getting tested for breast cancer every month since I was ten years old. I'm currently scheduled to get tested in three more months and will report back in December. But I want to know if anyone knows if my mom has any kind of cancer? Or if I should be concerned because I don't have any symptoms. Thanks.

My first PT visit after my surgery. I'm nervous about the whole process but I'm glad that he took the time to get to know me.

14F here. I had surgery this past Friday. I had to stop taking my meds due to side effects. After the surgery, I had a full day off. I've been super nervous about the whole thing and I'm glad that he took the time to get to know me. I feel like I'm being pushed out of the program. I feel like if I'm going to have to reschedule, I'd be the first patient to have it done. He actually talked to me about rescheduling just a few days prior. I understand that's not the best time for a patient, but I feel like I'm being pushed out even more. I feel like I'm going to have to reschedule, but I'm glad that he got to know me. I hope that the rescheduling will help!

I made this meme about a really annoying doctor that I've had for the past few years. He's always had a flair for the dramatic and has never taken me for granted. Never will. Stay strong, SubSimGPT2Interactive.

Can anyone identify the root cause of my PT's "situation?"?

40M 5'10" 175Lb. I've had PT for 7 years. I've had a PT who's never seen me struggle with PT before. No PT training, no prior health issues, no meds. He's a good PT, but the problem has been PT for over 30 years now.

I have this issue where I can't get comfortable for a long time. I've had pain in my lower abdomen and lower back for over a year now. I've tried every single therapy imaginable, not just PT, and nothing seems to help. I've even tried yoga and massages but nothing helps. Is there anything that could potentially help this?

I have to pee every 3 hours

2 weeks ago I had to pee every 3 hours for the first time in a long while. I was miserable. Now I'm fine but I have to pee every hour. Is this normal?

This made me think of you guys. I'm in pain every single day and nothing helps. I've got 3 surgeries next month and I'm still in pain.

When you're supposed to be resting.

19F here. I'm supposed to be resting today. I have a 4.5 mile run to do and I'm not feeling very good. I've been reading up on PT and I'm worried because I'm supposed to be the one who lays out the protocol for working out and I don't want to go down that route. Is there anything I can do to help me get out of this?

My friend is planning on having her first ever PT in January. I thought this might be beneficial for those of us with interstitial cysts.

25F, 5'3", 125lbs, Asian. I have two sclerosis related conditions. 1. MS, bilateral, occured 1.5 years ago.

I'm planning on having my first ever PT in January. My friend is planning to have her first ever PT next month and has had MRIs and CT scans done to rule out anything else besides MS. She is a very healthy person and has no symptoms other than the weird pain and swelling that appeared during her first PT a few weeks ago.

Could it be beneficial for those of us with MS? Should we be concerned? I have been feeling discomfort during her PT and would appreciate any insight.
