So we’re posting ceiling loot now, found this holding a light up.
Got a new Klein long cabinet flathead during a remodel this year. My apprentice got his first hammer that’s not also pliers on the same job in the ceiling too!

I was hoping for an error when I found it but upon closer inspection I can see the “QUA” in reverse on the smashed edge so I guess this just got caught in a coin machine with another quarter. I love it and will keep it safe.
Searching through the latest box of loose rolls of dimes from my bank and was happy I only found 2 pennies and one canadian looking for the 1964 silver when I found a PSVita card! The way I dumped the roll out in stacks I saw the black corner and thought it would be lint, but was a much better surprise. Super curious what’s on it and will find out when we find my girlfriend’s PSVita.
Also in second picture the 1962 was found in coin machine reject bin at grocery store I was working at I was so happy to find! And I just thought these ones with the copper core showing on the face of the rim were cool, not even sure if it’s a mint error or more valuable if anyone has input on those.
Happy hunting everybody!
Whoever brought these to my bank, thank you! I’ll check every day and told them to call me if anyone brings in half dollar rolls again because this was amazing to find after searching 3 full bank boxes with no luck.
Story time.
I just started hunting a few months ago, tried getting 2025 pennies and looked through my change jar and didn’t find anything. I went to my bank to look for halves the first time I went and they only had $8, one was a 1968 and I was hooked! I ordered a box of halves, bought the red book and did some research on what else to look for. It took me a long time to get through the first box and then the bank called and said they had 2 more boxes so I picked them up. I got a lot of NIFC years and a couple proof coins to start/add to my collection, but no silver. I was getting discouraged even though that’s the rate according to this sub so I told them to stop ordering halves for me. A week or so later I went back looking for loose rolls and the banker who had them was off that day so I had to come back the next day but oh boy was it worth it.
16 rolls of different wrappings I’ve never seen before that looked old with no markings so I picked them up. The Franklin was on the end of the first roll I opened and I was blown away, when I was done I got $10 face of silver and a bunch of proofs. I have now ordered another box and started getting quarters and dimes. I’m so excited to be a part of this community, I’m saving everything I find for my kids to inherit one day.
Is it normal to have more luck with loose rolls than bank boxes? Or are there really boxes still out there with full rolls of silver?
I wish you all luck and I hope the guy comes back to my bank with more!
