Hi i’m 19 years old this year and was recently worried about getting stds, i’m planning to get tested, but am not sure which stds to test for and how exactly i should approach this issue. I’ve only had oral sex a few years ago, no other sexual acts. Should i be worried about getting an std, and let’s say i really did have an std, is it life threatening and should i be worried about it day and night. Also, is testing for HIV enough

Hi guys, i’ve recently been struggling with health anxiety related to STDs. The last time i did anything sexual was about 3 years ago, i basically received oral sex (i’m a male) back then, and didn’t really overthink anything about STDs until recently. I only received oral sex and did nothing else. I am not experiencing any symptoms and have not experienced any for the past 3 years. Just wondering if my fear of getting an STD from the sexual act last time is an irrational one since I’ve had no symptoms. Also, do you guys think i need to get tested? Or can just forget about it and move on with life
