NSVT / NORMAL STRUCTURAL HEART

Hi! I’m a 25 year old female, I asked to be referred to a cardiologist because of a couple of things , one being I was have flutter sensation in my chest, making me feel the need to make myself cough and or like clear my throat , another thing is sometimes when I get up too fast I’d feel like my heart would race briefly sometimes making me lightheaded and I’d have to sit down for a second . I notice this after I’d smoke weed and stand up quickly this wouldn’t happen often if was a very rare occurrence but enough for me to be like hmm probably shouldn’t ignore that.

Even in high school if I sat up too quickly I’d feel my blood all rush to my head and sitting up would make me a little dizzy (not always combined but fast heart rate) but there was one particular time it happened when I smoked that really stool out to me and I’ve not forgot it since . (Within the last couple of months is when I had that episode.)

Fast forwards - I went to the cardiologist, explained my symptoms and he suggested with two the two week ZIO holter, I wore and pretty much felt no symptoms the entire time I had it on. There was one night I do remember where I was laying on right side and took a deep breath , and felt a thump in my belly that traveled up. I did the same thing and the same thing happened but did not happen after the 3rd Deep breath. It was obviously a weird sensation but nothing that freaked me out.

Results for the zio came back with the following information.2-week ZIO monitor reviewed.  Underlying rhythm was sinus with an average rate of 77.  HR ranged from 48-148.  There is a 12 beat ventricular salvo noted, which occurred at around 1:50 AM..  In addition, rare PACs, rare PVCs.Patient had a min HR of 48 bpm, max HR of 156 bpm, and avg HR of 77 bpm. Predominant underlying rhythm was Sinus Rhythm. 1 run of Ventricular Tachycardia occurred lasting 12 beats with a max rate of 156 bpm (avg 142 bpm). Isolated SVEs were rare (<1.0%), and no SVE Couplets or SVE Triplets were present. Isolated VEs were rare (<1.0%), and no VE Couplets or VE Triplets were present.

I immediately searched up what all this means , as my doctors summary note was a 12 beat episode of NSVT was caught and he wanted to order an echo but believed to be benign. , I instantly started freaking out and actually went to the hospital - the hospital ended up admitting me that way I could have an echo the following day considering a echo wasn’t able to done until December , so I took that opportunity and was monitored through the night.

Fast forward / all results came back as I had a normal
Structural heart , and the only thing they saw was There is trace to mild tricuspid regurgitation which the doctors
Confirmed which was not a concern to them as this can be some peoples normal.

I’m having a hard time understanding HOW nsvt is brushed off as benign and “no worry” when I read on Google and other places how dangerous this can actually be, yes I’m aware more dangerous in people with actual structural heart issues, but how likely is this not to turn into something more catastrophic? I mean, I haven’t been able to shake this feeling of fear. I Am functioning like working and doing the things I need to, but realistically it has me so shook up my hands are constantly sweating, I feel so
Much aware of my heart & feel the flutters have gotten weirdly worse since I’ve had all this stuff done.

I’ve posted on other community pages about this already, but I’m hoping I can get some further reassurance by others who may have or is going through this or in the medical field who sees this kind of stuff ? I am absolutely horrified. I want to be a mom, I am
So scared this will ruin the chance of that happening. I’m scared to sleep , to really do anything besides sit here lol. It’s like I feel DOOMED.

I come with no judgement if anyone wants
To message me directly if not comfortable enough to comment publicly. Thank you for reading this I know it’s long 😩

NSVT/SPIRAL

Please see below my results for the 2 week ZIO heart monitor I wore for my symptoms which Included (fluttering / thump sensation) which sometimes would make me cough (not repetitively more like a clearing of throat or one little cough) occasional dizziness when standing up fast from sitting.

Health anxiety cripples me; like rn I’m currently been in and out of doctors office trying to feel some type of relief and clarification for what these results mean and what would cause the NSVT.

I also spoke to a customer of mine about like the fluttering, & mentioned lung cancer? Which immediately freaked me out, I did have a recent chest x ray about 8 months ago that was normal.

Anyway results can be seen:

2-week ZIO monitor reviewed.

Doctors note was ; ZIO monitor was done and did show a 12 beat WCT salvo at 1:50 AM. Otherwise, fairly benign. However, given the rhythm disturbance as well as the primary complaint I will run it by EP for their thoughts. I will also go ahead and get an echo looking for structural heart disease..

Update: was kept over night in hospital I was having significant anxiety intensifying symptoms making it difficult for me to focus on anything besides that so I went to the hospital.

They did a chest X ray & put me on some type of medication and asked to keep me for the night to perform an echo this morning.

Everything Came back good. No heart disease Causing the pals or the NSVT episode. They believe this could’ve been triggered from a number of things , dehydration (I drink a lot Of soda) , stimulants such as weed bc I do love my thc..

I asked the doctor if he felt the NSVT episode would or could ever turn into a full VT , and he said if it was a 80 year old man with heart disease he may feel a little more concerned , but because my heart looks healthy overall between being monitored all night and everything else they did they don’t feel a reason for Concern.

I will say that the only thing they did find was “Trace to mild tricuspid regurgitation” which is a tiny amount of blood that leaked backwards through a valve on the right side of my heart when it closes. Which he says is extremely common in healthy people.

I do feel somewhat better, but I think following up with my cardiologist will maybe ease my mind even more. Health Anxiety is not a joke & once you’re spiraling , it really is difficult to convince yourself you’re really okay.. normally I am able to feel relief after the hospital, and don’t get me wrong I feel better but I still feel so anxious to have heart things happening to Me anyway.

I want to be a mom and have a family So bad , I’m only 25 so this happening just makes me So scared to consider starting that process.

I hope any of you who are dealing with the same thing find good positive outcomes & im praying for all of you.

*I have already posted this in another community for PVCs, but have seen actual doctors comment on this community page, so I’m reposting, today I woke up again so anxious, definitely becoming more of a phobia at this point. I jusy don’t understand how this is dangerous but not dangerous for me? I don’t understand how If my heart is so “normal” why id have an “episode” of something generally not safe.* I feel trapped in my own body..like if nothing is wrong how am I suppose to accept that if it can turn into something dangerous..*

Pls feel free to judge me. Mental health is a bitch and I’m really trying my best.

Spiraling from recent NSVT finding

Before I get started, I am fully aware healthy anxiety is something I need help for which I have been getting for years. Idk if I am not with the right professionals or WHAT.

This diagnosis has completely crippled me, I can’t properly function. I can’t stop hyper fixating on the “what ifs”. I’ve read a lot into these NSVT specifically on Reddit and have seen a lot of peoples turn into VTs and have to get ablation or even a ICD. Which is truly terrifying to me considering they’re apparently “benign” and not dangerous .. makes very little sense to me.

I am a 25 year old
Female , who wants to be a mom so bad. I’ve also being seeing having episode of NSVT can put you at a high risk pregnancy. Like OH GREAT.

I had the zio monitor for two weeks which captured at 12 beat run of NSVT only had it one time that entire time with 1% PVC burden.

I don’t know how to find comfort. I can’t really seem to find it in anything im not sleeping well at all, and I am at work but staring into space because my brain is trying to make sense out of something that is making me feel very unsafe in my own body.

I am sorry for anyone who has to read this and is like “this girl is a crazy health anxiety freak!” But if you have health anxiety you know the spiral is so hard to get out of.

After the hospital stay and echo , chest x ray and monitoring everything turned out jusy fine , but again NSVT can be dangerous and apparently can put you at a high risk of pregnancy , so I don’t see how this is safe AT ALL.

I just want a peace of mind. That’s all.
