Question: Is the ASI gas adjustable block worth getting for a 585 series Mini-30? What else should I get for the gas system?

Our country has finally reached its 250th year!

Despite all the asinine gun laws we now have in this state, you can still make some aethestically pleasing firearms. Here’s my Mini-30 Ranch that I’ve milsurpified by giving the rifle stock the restain treatment along with a matching wood handguard.

The aethestic that I was going for was a SKS. It can do everything the SKS does except for reliably shooting steel-case ammo on account of the Mini-30s shorter firing pin. Even if I originally wanted an SKS, I still love shooting this gun especially with Yugo M67 ammo! The Aimpoint Pro optic gives this rifle a retro-futuristic look.

Just one example of how inherently absurd AWBs are as a concept. A handgun over 100 years old and uses 9mm Bergmann cartridge banned because it uses a detachable 6-round magazine outside the grip.

I would buy this handgun to start my early autoloading handgun design collection, but apparently, this gun is so much scarier than the 1911.

Here’s the deal. I’m looking to add hand grooves to my Mini-30’s stock akin to the ones you see on old milsurp rifle stocks such as the SKS as shown in the second photo.

It will be appreciated to get recommendations for tools so I can get some practice on pieces of wood before attempting the same on my rifle stock.
