Hi everyone! I had LASIK about a month ago, and I’ve noticed that my eyes look noticeably different to me and some of my family members since the surgery.

I know LASIK doesn’t actually change your eye color, but I’ve read that changes to the tear film/dryness after surgery can affect how light reflects off the eyes, potentially making them look duller or less bright.

For anyone who has experienced this — did your eye color/appearance eventually go back to normal as your eyes healed? Or did using lubricating eye drops make a noticeable difference?

I’d love to hear from anyone who has had a similar experience after LASIK!

Hello I am a 31 year old woman and my fiancé is a 29 year old man. His brother and his fiancé will be getting married in the next couple of months and we both already aren’t really excited about going because we do not have a good relationship with them especially my fiancé and his brother. His brother treated him pretty badly through out their life together and his fiancé was never really a good friend to me as well for example, making fun of me constantly and making comments about my “long neck”. Pretty much they are both bully’s. His brother has openly bragged about cheating on his fiancé multiple times so we try to distance ourselves from them, but because they are family they seem to always be around when we visit other relatives.

Well the other day I was around my soon to be sister in law and she tells me that she feels really bad and needs to tell me something. Come to find out. The two of them barely have any friends so they befriended one of my fiancés ex fuck buddies and is making her one of the brides maids because she needs more people in her wedding. This girl was friends with benefits with my fiance for multiple years and he introduced her to his friend group. Since then she was apart of this so called friend group for a couple years before me and my man ever met. She even went as far as marrying one of my fiancés best-friends after they were done being friends with benefits and they ended up divorcing down the road because she cheated on him. I guess you can call the girl a homie hopper .

Either way.. once we started dating she slowly went her own way and now has her own family with some other dude… until my fiancés brother got engaged and started planning their wedding and now his brother is saying it’s his friend now and I can get over it. I know it is their wedding and they have every right to invite who they want but I don’t feel comfortable standing along side someone and trying on dresses with someone who used to fuck my man. So I told my fiance that we can go to the wedding but I simply don’t want to be on of the brides maids now. Am I the asshole?
