I attended the 12pm COE ceremony on Saturday. The ceremony started right on time and ended almost exactly 1.5 hours later (perfect). The speeches were short and sweet, and there didn't seem to be a single hiccup.

To the small army of folks who guided students, faculty, and guests throughout the ceremony, oversaw the AV equipment, directed vehicle traffic, cleaned up after each ceremony, etc... I just want to say congrats on a job well done.

Back in the quarter system (Spring 2018 and before), graduation was in mid-June. It was a crap shoot whether the weather would be tolerably warm or almost unbearably warm. The sun was at peak intensity for the year and I got sunburned on my face at least a couple times.

I love having graduation in mid-May in the semester system.
