I end up waking up again and again and sweating because of which my sleep is hampered and it's causing me health issues. How do you manage the heat while sleeping?

I'm travelling from Rishikesh to Delhi on 26th May. Where should I take a bus from? Should I book it in advance? How much time does it take? And what is the safest option? And where to book from?
