First time upgrading, RTX 5070 12gb?

I just got a nice tax rebate, and I am going to upgrade gpu for the first time soons, I am currently on a i510600k, radeon rx570, 16gb ram.

I've seen a lot of people on reddit saying negative things about the RTX5070 12g, so was hoping for some advice from those who know pc building a lot better than I.

Some of my wishes are

everything ultra'd on 1080p with high frames 90+ minimum, im currently at high settings with around 40fps which is sads games like Rust I get around 30fps currently, things like icarus are just unplayable.

The ability to do 1440p for future, I wont be doing it right away.

Raytracing at 1080p, like cyberpunk impressive lighting and things

I use AI for work, so in theory the more vram the better to my naive understandings

I was going to go with this

MSI GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 8G VENTUS 2X OC PLUS Graphics Card - RTX 5060 Ti GPU, 8GB GDDR7 (28Gbps/128-bit), PCIe 5.0 - DUAL-Fan Thermal Design (2 x STORMFORCE FAN) - HDMI 2.1b, DisplayPort 2.1b

I would look in to a 4070 ti 12gb but it looks like its mostly just secondhand ones now and not as cheap as a 5060 ti, so I am thinking of trying to catch the 5070 12gb on offer for around £450 if I can find it. I know AI can be a bit unreliable or not suggest things unless prompted otherwise I'd say my budget is 300-400. I dont mind waiting around a month for offers to appear issue is the 5060 ti 8gb is £320, the 5070 12gb is £520 currently.

So I suppose my queries are, is the 5070 12gb worth it?

Will it do everything I'm hoping for?

Am I aiming too high/low for what im seeking?

Is it not reasonable to expect it to drop another £80 to £450 as that is probably my cap on spending
