Hi all. I’m still looking for a Boxster. I previously posted about a guards red and tan 06 S manual a few weeks ago that seller decided not to sell unfortunately. I think I found an 08 base manual in Texas that I think I am going to pull the trigger on but he sent me a video on a cold start this morning (cooler temps) and saw a little bit of smoke from exhaust against the black bumper background. It wasn’t very noticeable and could have just been cold start on a cooler morning but I wanted to ask because I didn’t think the bore score was an issue on the 08 base engine. Thoughts please? I am looking to purchase this 2006 Boxster S with some upgrades. Let me know what you think of the upgrades, value and anything I should be watching for.
