Something borrowed, something old that’s new

Watching old seasons of Survivor and found from S7 (Pearl Islands) two “twists” to be especially fun for the game. Bringing either or both would be great. First, castaways thought they were going to a photo shoot but instead the game started early and they were only allowed tbe clothes on their backs. Sooo fun! Has this been done since? If not, would be great to do it again because for the most part, people would be unprepared and it might be fun not to see all the wardrobe changes we’ve been getting lately (soooo many on S49 and 50).

Second, bringing back the contestants voted out for a second chance. This has such appeal in that people are so discarded before the jury starts filling and that’s some serious redemption some cast out castaways can get and it really throws a fun curve ball into the game.

Exit press and return season invites

I’m wondering if Jonathan’s exit press in any way harms his previous seemingly guarantee of being asked back.

He really shows, even outside of the game, that he is not at all a calm or calculated person. He is bitter and whiny and throwing shade left and right. He lost … but is blaming it on the game and his perceived defects in the game.

How are Jeff and producers feeling about this. I know no one knows … I was just genuinely wondering since this community seems to understand a lot more about Jeff and production than I do.

Pecan island and Space x

Just learned Space X is in the process of acquiring almost 140 thousand acres of land in South Louisiana, at Pecan Island in Vermillion Parish. We kind of know how well Elon treats land he acquires and maybe we’re willing to give up the uniquely historical and cultural site that is a Mecca for wildlife and for hunters and sportsmen alike … (though I don’t see why we let him acquire it) but do residents down there know this will become a large scale hot-fire test complex and engine production hub?

Full stack static fires are extremely loud and we can say good bye to the wildlife and the sportman’s aspect of Pecan Island, but the damage almost certainly wouldn’t be confined to Pecan island. I’m wondering how people from the parish feel about this?
