PSA to any vintage collectors, there are more and more dupes showing up where people claim they are authentic deadstock! This is just one example 💔

Please don’t fall for these especially at the price this specific one is listed at! ($189) Be weary of and tiktok accounts that say they found vintage babydoll deadstock especially of such rare items!

You can tell by the fabrics, tag, and lace detailing that it is not authentic at all! (real on the last slide for reference).

I’m just now realizing that one of my packages that arrived a couple days ago with DHL most likely was inspected due to the new laws (i didn’t know about them until today)

For the first time in all my years of ordering from japan the box i received had tape all over it saying is was opened and resealed by customs only a couple days ago

On my tracking it said there was an exception and it was stalled for a few days then delivered

hopefully this is of some help to those awaiting packages with similar items! i know sylvanian collectors are worried

both items very clearly say “kids” on it… do i have any hope of these clearing customs? i have not consolidated yet fortunately. I want these for collection purposes but i don’t know if thats enough to get them through 💔 i ordered other items too like watches and adult clothes, i don’t know if i should consolidate and hope they don’t check or what..

i don’t collect much juicy so i thought it was real but apparently this jacket has fakes, so if it’s fake it was pretty convincing 💔 there were no tag pictures in the listing so i didn’t know what they looked like
