I bought a vintage seiko from Mercari using Buyer yesterday, nothing afaik has shipped or anything but buyee have told me they've bought the watch.

I was looking on eBay after the fact and noticed there were about half a dozen listings of the same watch, same photos and everything but almost double the price (the seller appears on Mercari to be a private individual, not any sort of commercial op).

So I'm wondering whether there's a bit of Japanese drop shipping going on here, or if I've stumbled into some sort of scam?

Hi, I’m about to pay for the shipping of my order, how long can I expect it to take to arrive to France ?

To those who have bought cameras off of Buyee, how much was your shipping? Mine is $125 or ¥20,000. I have friends that have bought cameras and every time their shipping is $50 or less I have no idea why mine is so expensive.

I'm not sure if this is a good idea or allowed here, but I'm looking for someone based in Japan who might be able to help me forward a package to Qatar.
Currently, Buyee isn't able to ship directly to Qatar for certain options, even though Japan Post and other services are still actively delivering here (I actually just placed an order from another store in Japan using Japan Post without any issues).
Is hiring a personal shopper/proxy buyer in Japan a common or reliable thing to do? And if anyone here offers this service or knows a trustworthy person/service, please let me know!

I bought some "junk" 3DS and PSP's from Buyee and pray to god they are allowed to be shipped to the USA. They are, aren't they? Has anyone had experience with this?

I bought 3DS's from Mercari (directly from Mercari JP, not through Buyee) and had no issue. I hope Buyee isn't stricter or anything......................

I've bought yesterday 8 prize figures (re zero 10th anniversary GiGo figures) for about 103€. I'm genuinely terrified of the shipping cost tho. How much do prize figures like that go for? According to my calculations the package should be around 7 and 9 kg counting figures, big box and possible plastic wraps. I was thinking maybe 80€ max but seeing some other posts here i'm not so sure anymore.

Please help me out.

Hello everyone, this is my first time using Buyee, I had them get me a couple Re:Zero trading cards and a desktop playmat. Fedex emailed me today with forms that need filled out about Consumer Product Safety for toys that needs filled out. Buyee invoice attached to the Fedex email said they put contents as Character Plush Toy, Trading Card, Playmat Polyester. I have no idea what this "character plush toy" is, I don't know if one of the sellers I bought from tossed a toy in with the playmat or one of the trading cards, or what. I forwarded the email to support@buyee.jp and filled out the contact form on their website with my order number, the fedex contact, and what they needed filled out, etc.. but I am wondering now if they're going to ship my package back to japan or destroy it if Buyee simply doesn't reply. Does Buyee usually take care of this? I'm looking at the toy form and I can't even begin to "wing it" on answering these questions because I have no idea what Buyee packed up, only what I ordered which was 2 trading cards and a playmat. I'm really confused about what to expect.

Ordered electronics that were declared as junk. So far so good. Now when it arrived the housing was cracked with the shards inside the box.
I don‘t mind that the electronics might not work but I wanted the case for parts.
Got the normal plan with insurance. What is the chance I get a refund?
