Today my order got shipped to the warehouse, and when I look at it, there seems to only be one object in the list of contents, instead of 6 as seen in the picture. My partner says they have it like that too, but I just want to understand if this is normal. Should I be worried? Is it supposed to be this way?
Hi! These past few days I've been having a serious issues with blue powder isopods escaping my terrarium. I've been finding these guys all over my house, and today I'm coming here because I just now woke up and scratched myself and accidentally scratched one OFF MYSELF IN MY BED!!! I believe they're escaping through the top of the enclosure through the vents and through the tiny cracks in the lid. Has anyone else had this problem? How did you solve this?
Hi! I got into henna a few days ago. I have a very light, pale skin, and I really like the way henna looks when it's freshly made and is very bright orange (similar to iodine stains), it's less noticeable on my skin and I love the subtlety of it. After a day it turns reddish-brown and I feel like it doesn't suit me that well. I'm curious to know if it's possible to make henna stop oxidising, or at least slow it down as much as possible. All tips are appreciated!
Hi! I'm looking for a bra or some kind of a top that has support, made with cotton, and is nice to touch. I have a problem that my breasts need support but wearing bras or regular sport tops gives me a lot of discomfort because I always feel them and remember about them. If anyone has a similar problem, how do you deal with it?
I have this mandarin spider plant and it's been looking really sad ever since I got it. The substrate it was in was very well draining but also really old and I feel like it wasn't getting enough nutrients, so I decided to repot. The question is, I know spider plants love being a bit root bound, and this plant is indeed hitting the walls of this pot, so should I size up or should I keep the pot and just change the soil? Also, how can I make it bushier? It looks a bit bald and I can't figure out how to make it bushy and pretty. It's thirsty in the pictures because I was waiting to repot it and water immediately after repotting.
Hi! I have tics, they're not very disruptive but do lower my life quality. I qualify for the tourettes diagnosis, but I never planned on getting one, because I see no reason. I'm wondering, does the diagnosis give any benefits? Why did you get one? Do they give any accommodations? If yes, which ones?
A few days ago I got the emeterm band. So far it works fine! I suffer with tics, motion sickness, frequent nausea, so it's an amazing thing for me to have, it makes my tics more rare and mild, and no motion sickness! My only trouble with it is that I always have a very hard time finding the right placement on my wrist, it takes me a loooong time to find it, and I feel like sometimes I don't find it at all because at the place where I have the most sensation, the sensation turns out to be pain and it bends and locks my fingers in place every single impulse. I use level 2 of the impulses. Does anyone else have this problem too?
Two weeks ago I changed the substrate (the depth is 1.5 of her length) of my millipede because there were isopods hitchhikers, since then my millipede seems to be VERY active, crawling around, exploring... But she also seems to try and climb up the glass a lot, like exceedingly, she never did this before. It looks as if she wants to get out, but I took it for her just being happy to explore.
Just now I went to spray the enclosure because it looks pretty dry, I didn't see her anywhere and started spraying... But then when I was about to put the lid back on, I saw that she's ON the lid!!! It freaked me out, because what if I didn't notice and she fell off and I stepped on her or she ran away and got lost?? I didn't expect her to be able to climb there, I believe she did it using the stick on the shell on the left.
Do you think I should cut that stick off just in case? Is she unhappy or is she just very curious? She looks healthy and is fine being handled, used to be very shy
(By the way, on the first picture she slightly curled up because I waved the lid once when taking it off. After taking it back on she went on running around the lid excitedly, but I then gently took her off because she couldn't get off any other way than falling off)
For context I don't have any specific type of ramshorns, I got them as hitchhikers and every now and then I see new colours of them. Mostly I have leopard or striped or dark brown ramshorns that grow pretty big. Just now I saw this guy who was wayyyyy brighter in colour than my regular ramshorns, it's almost pink-peachy in colour
I was prescribed pdp-desonide cream which is a glucocorticoid cream (0.05%). I'm going to travel soon for 3 weeks to another country. I can take a limited amount weight and space wise, and the cream bottle is quite big and heavy, I absolutely don't need that much cream on my trip, so I was considering transferring a small amount into a tiny travel cream container (like the 10ml ones sold in miniso). My only concern is, would it be safe? I'm worried about the cream degrading or reacting with the container. Any advice is welcome
I had a very hard time finding any small pin cases, found these smallest ones that are said to be 30 mm diameter, but they turned out to be almost 38 mm... WAY too big for the pins I mostly use. Does anyone know where I could find cases of the right size? I have like 20 of these tiny pins and they're all very scratched already :(
Hi. I was diagnosed with eczema at 18, though I believe I had it all my life. My most affected areas were specifically my right hand on top, my second toe from the left on my left foot, and knuckles that never stop hurting even with the treatment. Since I was diagnosed I started noticing that I might have eczema in other parts of my body, such as the scalp. Usually it's mild enough to be simply annoying, but I noticed that often eczema causes other issues, and for some reason they're extremely local.
The entire winter I had blisters, chilblains, pain, swelling, change of colour and lots of dead skin on that one specific toe that's affected by eczema only! To this day its tip is permanently red and it just never changes nor spreads anywhere.
Two weeks ago the tip of my index finger on my right hand became very sensitive and wrinkly and slightly red, and I can't do anything now because this is the main finger I use and it hurts all the time. It doesn't spread further and just stays on the tip of that one finger! Right now I'm trying to figure out if it's eczema or not, because I never really had eczema in that place before, but googling just doesn't give me any leads on what it could be and what to do about it. I feel like I'm overreacting...
I'm curious if anyone else had similar experiences, please share yours!

Hello! Every summer my room full of plants and with two terrariums suffers from fungus gnats. This winter I got a millipede, and now the fungus gnats infested her enclosure, together with one of my springtail cultures. I also recently noticed that there are tiny red mites in my millie's enclosure, I know they're not harmful but I'd still prefer to not have them. I need help getting rid of them, please share tips if you had to deal with them!
I also have a few questions:
Do mosquito bits work, and are they safe for millipedes and springtails?
Would something like End All Safer's miticide be safe for millipedes and springtails?
Are fungus gnats dangerous for millipedes at all?

Hi! I have this little gam (around 8 cm long), it's a girl. I just checked on her and she was on her usual eating spot, holding on her poop near the head while her butt is wide open pointing down... This freaked me a bit out, because it was open like that for a little while, and only after I took some pictures it finally closed. At first I couldn't under what that was, but that is indeed her butt. There was no poop near it (the poop on the pictures is all from yesterday) so I can't tell if she was just pooping or not. She's definitely alive and doesn't show any other signs of being unwell. I'm wondering, is it normal?
I got this pencil in Ukraine in around 2017-2020, it had a metal black round body that started flaking off with gold underneath, so I removed it and put thread on top instead. I don't have the original body anymore, it was the same thickness as the black grip part. The tip used to be black as well and also flaked off to the same gold colour. Under the cap there used to be a tiny eraser. You need to press on the cap to get the lead out. The lead size is 0.5
It's still working perfectly fine (not counting that it can't hold the lead anymore when it reaches 1.5 cm in length) and I love it, but the grip part became a bit sticky so I'd like to replace that part...
Hello. Around a year ago I received someone else's mail, it was delivered to my address by mistake. On the mail there's a different address and name. When I received it, I didn't read the name on it at first and opened it, but when I didn't recognise anything that was inside I looked at the address and saw that the address and the name were not mine, so I put it all back in the bag and left it on my shelf, not touching it for a very long time. I didn't know what to do, so I just let it be and forgot about it. Right now I'm thinking if I should return it or not. I'd like to return it but I'm afraid I might get in trouble because the package was unsealed and it's been a very long time... My question is, would I get in any legal trouble if I do try to return the package?
Recently I've been seeing people use resin to 3d print their dolls instead of plastic filaments, and I've been wondering which would be better in quality? Imo resin seems to be more smooth, but I don't know how good it feels to touch. What do you think?
