For some reason, I haven't been very motivated to do much sewing this year. But this hoodie finally made it off my sewing machine after all. It’s a very simple one made from fabric left overs from a hoodie I had sewn for myself. This one is in 1/3 and like all my other it's a bit oversized. ^^

My model is my Xagadoll Riku

So recently I bought a new Imomodoll (their 1/4 2.0 body, Riika head) from their store on Taobao. I've done this before and never had any issues. I own two other imomodolls (1/4 boy body 1.0, Miko head and 1/6 girl body 1.0, Toppa head) and I've never had any problems with them. However my new girl arrived with two of the same hand and upon trying to remove her head it seems noticeably worse in quality than any of my previous dolls with melted plastic texture inside, poorly formed eyeholes, and a crack in the neck hole.

Has anybody else noticed a drop like this? I'm really disappointed. I know imomos are frequently project dolls but they've always been a great budget option.

What is the wood base? I have never seen it. Or the green putty holding her together????

What do I do? She falls apart if I move her around half the time 😭😭😭 I'm scared she will fall apart while I'm trying to take photos outside.

The seller had told my friend and I she had a unusual base but nobody mentioned this. We thought they meant a upgrade or something since it was a old doll. My friend was assured it was all official volks merchandise.

Edit: The doll was bought by my friend about a year or so ago. It was a bundle, doll, wigs, eyes, clothing, SHOES! The doll base is from 2019/2020

The doll was given to me for my birthday in September since I liked her and my friend left her on a shelf/in a box, this was the first day she was taken apart, the body sock hid a lot and she was a full bundle. With accessories and clothing which is why my friend wanted it originally.

The seller only mentioned the neck cut so she could look up more. Nothing about the frame or putty. I wanted to try and update/grade her but found not what I was expecting.

And to everyone else helping me find out what her frame is thank you! She was supposed to be my first dollfie dream doll and I was told she was 100% dollfie dream doll.so anything on the site would work. I was confused and worried because I have no idea how to care for this frame 😭

I will probably be buying her a full new body just to ease my worries since this isn't something I'm comfortable with since I'm new to this.

I worked on the doll and several wigs simultaneously. It's always interesting to see how a hairstyle changes the look of the same doll. This mold looks stunning with red hair, but with blonde it seems even more fragile.

Needlefelted for the first time and I’m very happy with it :) made this mushroom sweater for Kinoga and I’m in love with how this outfit looks together!!

I've been looking for a brown toned bjd so I can create my oc, but I haven't really found anything especially moe doll heads. I've tried looking everywhere but the tones they have available I don't really like i feel like they're too grey.

I know smart doll has darker tones but they're really expensive due to how big they are (1/3)
