Tried out using msc semigloss to have that dewy look and maintain the mica shimmer and I'm pretty pleased with the results! Def will use this technique again if the head calls for the look.

From gem’s sale event, full set with hair and outfit but I’m going to start getting other more customized stuff…first pic is my favorite because he actually looks happy in it, but usually from the angle where I display him he looks kind of “😞” haha, i currently have him with some of my plushies and gachapon toys, I hope I don’t impulse purchase a friend for him cause he does look a bit lonely from certain angles…my wallet can’t take it!
Also has anyone tried anime-styled hair with these more realistic dolls and how do they look? Figure that I’m actually pretty bad at dealing with the current hairstyle.

I won a 1/3 Karla head from Qian Qian in mia pink, and I would like maybe to buy a body. I prefer 1/4 size, but we don't spit on what we won, do we? 😂

Knowing that I already have a whole 1/3 that I find too wide in terms of measurements (too much shoulders with 13,5 and too much hip with 30cm). It’s the one in picture (Qiangsheng milk candy).
Currently I can't find her pretty clothes and the clothes patterns are too small and as I’m not having enough experience, I can't modify them for her yet (which is incredibly frustrating)...

Could you recommend me a slim female body 1/3? I'm not really a fan of Volks, Lust or Fairyland 60cm, and I've seen an impldoll but it seems too wide at the hips. I had thought of a doll between 58 and 60 cm. Basically a SD13 I think ?🤔
I already look on legend doll, Alice collection, dikadoll, maskdoll, acbjd and dollsphere.

I don’t like the old body style early 2000-2010 bodies looks, I don’t know if I can say it like that 😂
I want slim but not teenage body an the joint of the chest was to be just under the chest and not 2 cm under…

The body that I found ok is the Sprouting Dragon 1/3 Bjd Body 58cm Female on dollsphere but it sold out months ago 😭

I honestly found so much beautiful bodies in 1/4 but nothing in 1/3 x(

It could def be better especially the eyebrows but!!!!! Considering its my first attempt ever, im satisfied. If i ever tried to fix anything itd rly just be the eyebrows.

still had to make him a protective pair of leggings for the pants, and finally had time today. also gave him different boots and changed the chains up, now he has a few on his belt and I made him a choker (which was originally for around his leg, but I couldn't figure out how to style it well, so choker it was!)

Doll mail came at the perfect time as I am going through a difficult time with some family matters. I am so excited to finally add Ring Doll's Baldwin IV (1/4 size) to my collection today! He is honestly so pretty and detailed I can't believe it!

hii!! ive never owned a bjd before and ive been looking at the volks usa website and i have no idea what to get or if her wig is salvageable!!! it's very frizzy because i made the mistake of brushing the wig with a real brush.. ive been looking at the sprays and stuff but the brushes are sold out so i dont know what kind of brush to get, any help would be very appreciated!!!

I purchased this doll specifically because I loved her soft pouty cat eye look. This is an example they sent of the chinese traditional make up which is not quite right. Second pic. Can yall help with the bullet points to get her face up right?
