The generation that got me hooked on the games was White 2 and Growlithe had always been my favorite. While I had a mishap with a firestone while trying to complete my pokedex, he’s still my good boy and will venture with me to wherever Pokémon sends us next!
Quagsire as well, tho our story is a little different. I got her while wonder trading in White 2 and she was my first ever shiny. I hope her OG trainer knows how special she’s been to me. she’s never been left behind in all these years.

I'm trying to learn pixel art/spite-ing to help my husband in his venture to trying to make a fan game, and right now I'm studying existing sprites to understand the basics and one thing I just can't see any ryhme or reason to is that sometimes the line art changes color midway through, it doesn't seem to be interior vs exterior line art, far layer vs near layer line art, it just truely seems completely random to me.
The example I have here I've pointed out the places where the lien art is just suddenly black and even zooming out, my pea brain cannot make sense of the logic behind this decision, but at the same time if I edit the sprite to make those black sections uniform to the surrounding lineart, there's something that's just lost to the polish, so it's doing something.
Can someone explain it to me, so I can learn, please.
I'm referencing Gen 5.0 sprites, if it helps.

I got nostalgic for bomb pops last week but the grocery store only had huge boxes of them. after a week I was kind of sick of popsicles and got the idea to melt a bunch and see what’d happen if you throw it through the ninja creami.
ive never been happier. pretty purple color, smooth gelato texture, no mess eatting. absolute win win.
i wasn’t sure what to expect, worried the texture would turn me off or the flavor wouldn’t work out but no. a little overly sweet, but a small single scoop of it is a delightful small treat.

I used to live out in the boonies where I had to drive into town for just a few pokestops and gyms.
I'm so excited to finally be able to participate in this game without having to be at work or on vacation.
Now our bed has 2 gyms and a poke-stop.
Our mall has routes, gyms, a dozen pokestops, and we live a few minute's walk from a major tourist area. I’ve never had this in my whole 10 years trying to enjoy this game.
I’ve been able to participate in full 5 star raids for the first time in my life without needing to use discords and remote in.
I'm so freaking excited to play this game the way it was supposed to be played!

I've had this little carby furniture figurine set for a while now, and it occurred to me that it was labeled "vol.1", but it doesn't seem that there was ever another released :(

I moved from the US to Canada 6 months ago or so, and it's been a bit of an annoyance trying to convert shopping accounts/email subscriptions from US to CA. I've had this email address all my life, and it's tied to absolutely everything, but at the same time, it's tied to a lot that's just US-specific.
Did y'all find a way to balance your email address? Do you maintain two separate ones, or did you just completely abandon your "old" one?
This might be a bit unique to US to CA, but a lot of our brands are the same, but have completely different sites/email campaigns/sales etc.
I keep getting emails from brands I care about about new releases or sales, and it's a US promo, so I just unsubscribe. It's so much to unsubscribe from everything that I just feel like abandoning and starting new.

I think it was a set of 3 nesting dolls made up of 6 cups.

the biggest doll was purple, and then i Think a Green and s blue one inside that.
Tonight, my husband is out at a birthday for one of his friends. Big loud group of boys; I was invited, but that’s not my crowd.
was dinner at our favourite Italian place and then drinks and games at the birthday boys house.
my husband kissed me before leaving, saying he’d might not be back till after I was asleep and headed out the door.
much to my surprise, the door opens and he waltzes in the door with a bag, and blurts out “I just wanted to bring you tiramisu before heading to the friends house! you like tiramisu”
puts it in my hands, pets the cats, and then heads right back out.
I met this man in an online game about 2 years ago. fell in love over calls and facetime, then met once and we just knew “this is it.” We had a wedding, he filled out the paperwork and paid all the costs to move me to Canada, I just uprooted myself and went with my heart.
I still don’t know How to explain how it just felt right to do it, but it just did, and my tiramisu girl dinner is a testament to that.
