Garlic butter fry poutine with fried onions... 10/10 no notes. 3s Company near Rockland ON
McDonald’s brought some international menu items today. Amongst them, France’s Cheesy Bacon McFlavour Fries. Did France just declare war on Quebec? Or did McDonald’s Canada just rebrand these American Cheesy Fries as French to appease the Americans?
i work in a small family shawarma restaurant and they sell chicken shawarma poutine but i tried the traditional one for the first time and due to this job i was able to make it myself
I was hungry so I looked up poutine near me in dt Toronto and saw this spot rated 4.9/5. 10min later I was in line at a greasy takeout spot. Lots of fusion options but I kept it simple with the tuesday special: classic poutine and a lb of wings for a bit over $20.
This was not it. Frozen seasoned battered fries that tasye like a cheap shwarma box, paper packet gravy, and cheese curds so completely melted I can't say anything about them.
Don't fall for it like me. The reviews are all either 5/5 from an Indian bot farm or 1/5 from an actual local.
Disclaimer, i had a lot of popcorn chicken in this so + KFC for that
From Anny's in Metro Vancouver.
The out of focus photo is a crime. The poutine? Far from it:
I actually had it before with smoked meat, but I found the gravy ended up cooking the smoked meat, and thus both side suffer while making the poutine salty. This time I decide to focus on the poutine, and aside from being cheaper (I am on a budget), taste much better.
Had some leftover gravy from Jollibee and added brie slices from the weekend.
i ate some french fries separately if that helps at all
thank you u/zystyl for the rec this was absolutely delicious
I must admit though, this was the weakest i’ve ever gotten from NY Fries. Gravy was noticeably thin and some fries were cooked more than others. Wouldn’t call it a crime but a damn shame my own word went against me, especially seeing it compared to yesterday’s post lol it looks sad to me. I’d give it a generous 6/10, cheese and fries still tasted great for the most part - what do you guys think?
Note - ordered a large classic with extra cheese and gravy (it was layered thank god lots of cheese but the gravy was a disappointment)
She literally said “chop the corn dogs up, smother it in cheese and boom it’s poutine”
NO GRAVY IS A SIN. (people rose up in the comments to say “no, it’s not”
this was a disney food hack.
