I heard an acoustic version of Interstate Love Song and decided to add my own harmony vocal.
On the studio version there are definitely some buried harmonies but they didn’t do them live which is a shame b/c they are really cool.

I play in an acoustic band. Singer, keys (me), harmony vocal, sometime percussion and acoustic guitar.
I currently use a single DBR10 as my amp. As we get ready to play small restaurant gigs should I buy a second DBR and a mixer to be a PA for all of us or should I get a tower/portable PA like a Bose L1?
DBR and mixer would be less than $600, especially if I find used. I wouldn’t spend more than that for something else.
It seems this is a rite of passage for pianists. The solo starts about 20 seconds in. So much fun to play. Maybe the most recognizable LH 2 chord song.
Brian sang well on the albums and hearing his solo concerts from the 90’s he was a strong live vocalist too. I wonder why during Queen concerts his backing vocals are so quiet and that he didn’t sing his songs like ‘39.
Admittedly Roger’s voice was Queen’s secret weapon in concert b/c he can sing so high and powerfully.
I have a Behringer Uphoria 4 input interface. I want to multitrack record live rehearsal of vocals and keyboard into garage band and then use my Yamaha DRB PA speaker as a monitor.
I don’t need much vocals in the monitor but I do need all the keyboards since it doesn’t have built in speakers.
My question is do I have to make a monitor mix in the DAW to have the monitor be mostly keyboards? How else do you do this, buy a separate mixer? Where would go in the chain? The vocal levels need to be pretty high on the Behringer interface since I want them to record well.
