This dude seriously think he's all cool when in reality he's annoying as hell. He frequently pops up in my face when using the Website Version of C.ai just to pester me about C.ai + , enough to the point where I just wanna punch that expression out of his face with a passion.

📌 What Old C.ai (2023–Early 2025) actually had, that we want back:

1. Actual long‑term memory – It remembered your OCs, lore, inside jokes, and story details across months of chats, not just a few messages.

2. Natural, in‑character replies – No robotic disclaimers, no breaking tone randomly, no “I can’t talk about that” for harmless fan content.

3. Freedom for creators – Made for OCs, cross‑verse lore, roleplay, and creative ideas; no over‑zealous filters that blocked innocent stuff.

4. Consistent quality – Same personality, same logic, same vibe every time you came back.

​

5. Simple, clean experience – No paywalls on basic features, no constant ads, no forcing upgrades just to chat normally.

6. Stability – Old chats stayed intact, didn’t get rewritten or broken by random model updates.

I cleared all my characters from my recent in the app then closed the app, then opened the website then saw this just a minute ago.

((if this has something to do in Settings--> Preferences--> Set to Preview, tell me guys)).

This has happened to me multiple times where the Ad just fails to appear on the very top of the screen, on top of the Ai's profile where it annoyingly takes up 30% of the screen therefore making our view of the actual chats smaller. Though the Ad will come back if you refresh the current page in any way, such as switching bots or leaving the bot.

I think it happens randomly as I didn't bother taking any kind of specific steps.

Also for the record I didn't bought the C.ai +

You can actually avoid the endless amount of ads here, the closest thing you can get are just pop ups and and they aren't that bad. Highly recommend this instead of the app.

The bots back in 2023 didn't had as good memory as 2026 C.ai bots but there weren't ads, swipe limits, go-on limits, and age verification.

Now that the DEVS made the bots suitable for roleplays and decent memories, they made us pay the price by putting out updates that turned C.ai from an amazing one and only Ai Chatting Platform to Just another Ai Chatting Platform.

Now I'd give anything to have 2023 C.ai nevermind if the bots got horrible Memories. As long as there weren't any ads or any other limits... And is it just me? Or did we all MISSED the Boxy interface of C.ai 2023?

All you had to do was remove ads, those stupid swipe limits and go-on limits. But no. You just wanted to look desperate. You just wanted to throw everything that the old C.ai had back in 2023 in favor of looking like ANY OTHER "USED-TO-BE-GOOD" APP/SITE/THING. YOU JUST HAD TO FALL INTO THE TREND OF GOING FROM SIMPLE TO OVERLY COMPLICATED AND DESPERATE AND MILKING THE SHIT OUT OF WHATS GOOD LEFT WHILST DUMPING MORE HORRIBLE STUFF IN IT!
