Makeup Critique & Advice
Alright, DON’T hold back.. I want honest opinions on what I could do differently with my makeup. I only use drugstore products as this is what fits in my budget.
I have been doing the same makeup for years and rarely change my process or products.
I don’t use foundation. I start by using a cream bronzer and blush, then apply cover-up on my under eyes and red spots, proceed to fill in my brows, curl my lashes and apply mascara, then finish with a powder bronzer and blush.
Lip products, eyeliner, and eyeshadow are not a thing in my world. I tend to lean towards more basic/natural makeup and don’t want a full beat. However I’m not opposed to some tight lining or a cute lippy, I just haven’t found the right products yet. I’m very cool toned and I find most lip liners or lipsticks are very orange on me, I am open to suggestions if anyone has recommendations for cool toned products.
One other thing to touch on would be my eyes. I’ve tried tight lining and LOVE how it makes my eyes pop, but find it always smudges to my under eye throughout the day. Please send help and tell me how I can stop this 😭 Also, I love waterproof mascara as it makes my lashes stay curled all day - I’ve used the waterproof L’Oréal telescopic for a few years, but recently it’s started to transfer onto my upper eyelids..
