Navigation Weirdness

I’ve had the truck two years and recently moved. Up until now, if I told the truck “Hey Google, navigate Home” it would start navigating to my saved home location. If I said “Hey Google, take me to work” it would navigate to my set work location.

Not anymore. “Navigate home” results in it trying to go to Homewood Suites. “Navigate to work” send me to the local Public Works utility or some such nonsense.

Is there some sort of setting I’ve long forgotten about? It still works with other saved locations. If I say “Navigate to Holly’s house,” it still navigates to our friend’s house. But hone and work are unusable.

ETA: From this thread and my online searching, it’s just a quirk of Google Maps with no remedy at this time. My “home” setting is fully updated to my new address, Google just isn’t reacting to it as a destination in the same way it did at my last house. Hopefully Google fixes it with an update.

How to Stop Truck From Deciding Where to Charge?

I’ve had my ‘24 Denali for nearly two years and had tons of road trips, and I’ve never encountered this problem before. Not sure if it’s a settings change or if maybe my method of route planning was just different this time.

I made a 900 mile road trip from Alabama to Oklahoma. I was towing so I took the time to preplan all charging stops to make sure I could either get a pull-thru charger or at least be somewhere like a Pilot where dropping a trailer is feasible. Also, I made sure it was always somewhere we could eat and use bathrooms, etc.

I made sure to route to the actual chargers, not just the stores they are located at. Put it all into a route and said go. Well, the truck did not approve of my plan. It thought I was stopping too often and constantly wanted to reroute to different chargers. I didn’t want those chargers - I wanted the ones I planned for. And I wanted to stop that often, because we have human bladders.

After a few hours I was beyond frustrated and gave up. I exited navigation and just fed it one charging stop at a time. That worked, but it meant that every time I stopped I had to look up my next stop and enter it rather than just pressing “continue.”

I can’t find a setting anywhere. Can I just turn something off to make the truck stop caring about my fuel plan? If I want to stop at certain chargers or just YOLO it into a charging desert that’s up to me. It’s not like a gas truck freaks out if you don’t plan to stop at the gas stations it thinks are best.
