Few weeks ago, nag-open ako ng BPI BanKo account. Ang sinubmit kong ID ay yung school ID ko kasi hindi ma-read ng eKYC scanner neither yung ephilid nor yung digital nat id ko. After account opening process, may binigay sa akin na KYC code na kailangan i-present sa nearest BPI BanKo branch. Fortunately, may malapit naman na branch na akin kaya nilakad ko. Binigyan nila ako ng free ATM card na pwedeng i-activate sa app. Little did I know, yung account na process sa akin ay PondoKo savings which I didn't intend to do kasi TODO savings yung sinelect ko primero nung nag open ako ng account thru app. Kaya nag-email ako sa BPI BanKo to clarify my concern. Tumawag sila at sinabi ang TODO savings ay exclusively sa BPI BanKo app lng siya ma-poprocess. Kasi once na pumunta ka sa branch, ang kaya lng nilang i-process ay yung PondoKo savings account. Hindi ako aware na ganon pala ang sistema. Sabi nila hindi pwede yung printed at digital sa pag-open ng TODO savings sa app. Kailangan talaga ng physical national ID. That's why hindi mai-accept yung IDs ko sa app at pinapunta ako sa branch.
Kagaya ng posts na nakita ko dito sa reddit, need i-close ang PondoKo savings account para makagawa ng TODO savings account. Ayan din ang sinabi sa akin ng tumawag mula sa BanKo. Should I insist yung ephilid at digital national ID to open a TODO savings app. Kasi technically valid naman tong IDs na to at nasa batas din siya. May naka-experience na ba ng ganito?
