I’m looking for a Patagonia rain jacket for everyday use and can’t decide between the Torrentshell 3L and the Granite Crest.

My use would be a mix of:
Everyday wear around town
Walking and hiking
Commuting by bike to and from work (occasionally)
Grocery shopping and errands in bad weather
General outdoor use
I’m based in a Scandinavian country if that matters.

I’m not doing any serious mountaineering or extreme backpacking, but I do want something that can handle heavy rain and last for years.

Is the Granite Crest worth the extra money for this kind of use, or is the Torrentshell the better all-around choice?
